I voted no to the prestige system because it seemed like a lot of peoples work was going to be a waste. It makes it seem like someone who trains a skill past 99 has wasted their time. It means someone who has 14m xp in woodcutting (like myself) is just as good as suomi, who is clearly better.
However i think that there should still be a way to reset skills to level one. Though it shouldn't affect a rank. Keep the cap at 200,000,000 but let people still reset it to level one if they please. Maybe a new skill cape if they get 99 twice?

sumoi accepted large donation which makes you better than him, you likely earned your exp where as he just begged for it. And yes even iam better than him as i work for my xp.
I would've voted yes if it was where you could still make and do all the other stuff you could already do with the maxed lvl the first time. But when leveling it up after that those higher items not giving any experience until you hit that level again.
Good. Glad you guys polled something on RS3 for once. Do it more often please.
Kudos.

Glad to see that the rs community and mods are just fine w rs dying via stagnation, and in fact want it to die faster (120s). Meanwhile there are 1,337 people with 200m dunge xp. Glad I canceled my membership when i did.
Except for that they probably aren't going to implement 120's, and it says under your face that you renewed your membership last month.
Lol.
Because that totally couldnt have been the last time i paid for members and my membership still isnt up yet from that payment.

What if there just new hi-score section that can tell people who gathered most xp daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc
Some fan website actually use this on their site however not accurate
why not jagex site?
This would bring out competition
edit: there could also be rewards discussed like in prestige like outfits and titles
for the top people on these hi scores
Idea would just get those who can play 16 plus hours daily or indeed
those that are using bots.
A competition should have everyone on an even basis or its not a fair comp.
Now for that to work it would have to be over say 4-6 hours or whatever
the average player plays the game daily, this was my norm when i first joined
but i have work and family now so it wouldn't include me,i'm just stating this
as my opinion for fair play to those should it be implemented.
.And now the end is near its time to raise the final curtain.
Regrets i have a few, but i did it my way.
You know what would be really cool!? If Jagex implemented similar thread options as Facebook. These forums need a "like", "dislike" and something of a third option like...Oh I don't know... "meh" ... lol.
Unlike prestige, making 120 the cap for skills IS actually forced on us if we want to keep our mastery of that skill. That would be even worse than Prestige.
Do not implement 120's.
I found that a lot of the people asking for this either are below 2000 total (they don't know/care what they're really asking for) or have 100m xp in a few skills already, which would allow them to jump right to the end instantly.
Yes I have found this to be the case too. I think people in the near-max, max category will find the idea of 120's to be quite disgusting. As I mentioned in the previous posts, anyone outside of the top 50 is basically voting for some content to be inaccessible to them forever.
people with sub 2000 total especially have no grounds for asking for 120 skills. Even people with 100m's... still don't have them in all and STILL wont be able to access alot of content.
There doesn't have to be content all throughout 100-120. Existing skills already have gaps in the levels.
Considering thousands are comped and even more thousands are maxed...there isn't much challenge to this game, nor is there much recognition to people who have 99's or comp/max. Free xp galore with spins, future updates, effigies, etc.
120's or even rewards at 200m xp could revitalize the "challenge" to this game.
Thank you very much for listening to the majority of the players. I know, many of you are annoyed as you believe this content was optional. Yes it is optional to prestige but that doesn't change how the fact that the game would be completely changed. This gamw doesn't need it's most simplistic aspect, skills, to be over worked and madesome what difficult to understand. There is a very large majority of the players whom are pre-teen and this would prove to become a challenge for a chunk of that demographic.
Nonetheless, I graetly appreciate the fact that you're willing to listen to the pllayers and are now reconsidereing your idea (NOT ABONDONING IT!
) Of course I would like to think that most players would love to see something implemented into thhe game that would bring back the old competetive spirit of RuneScape to which many veterans have grown up with and loved.
That's what makes RuneScape, RuneScape. I would like to say this in the nicest way possible but don't ***** it up, Jagex - your remaining player count that is keeping the game alive depends on it.
Perhaps implement a system where a competition is hosted weekly (or whatever) and players compete to see how much experience they can optain within a certain time period. Don't make it for 24 hours like you have done in the past. That knocks out a good 95% of the player base whom simply cannot no-life RuneScape. I would
LOOOOVEE to see skillcape upgrades for experience level achievement also. So for example, you have a cooking skillcape, when you gain 50m exp, you get an upgrade option on that cape (similar to the trim when you get two or more 99's). Players are all for bragging about their sucess with skill capes and why should that stop when you get 13m exp? Frankly, there is no point for a 200m cap if you don't do anything with it, Jagex. People want IN-GAME rewards for their efforts, not a number on a highscore list.
Thank you so much for listening and I hope you read this.
