I still think we need some sort of prestige system, especially since we're starting to get into the 100s of people with max xp. But the one suggested here just wouldn't have worked, because it'd reset a lot of people's progress. And in a game that's all about making progress, that's kind of dumb.
I'd really like this idea to be revisited where the prestige happens at 200M. I've been tracking my Thieving xp past 200M with Rune Metrics (the only reason I'm still doing it is to try to get that stupid pet), but it's definitely not the same.
Although I believe some people were against the idea because it meant there was no endgame. I disagree, but that's my opinion and that doesn't change their also completely valid opinion. Join Lazy Potatoes !
