I am glad they voted no on prestige it is pointless and we will see many more high level players leave runescape to have put all that time and effort into a skill to feel a little on top then loose it again and have to grind all over again. I believe increasing lvls to 120 would be the better option still having 99 skill capes but also having the mastery skill cape for 120 just like dung skill it will open endless doors for new content for the game and also give the master skillers the respect deserved i have said for a long time now increase in lvl cap to 120 is almost a must for this game to continue to grow

It was a very close poll. 40% did want prestige and I think that's a very big percentage considering the amount of active players in the game now. Please don't forget this update. Somehow put a prestige system in placed and may I suggest to not name it prestige so that people would not backlash?
Jokes aside (it really wasn't a joke), the prestige system should have been explained in a better detail and in a better light. When you use the word "reset", the majority of minors here in Runescape will automatically relate it to being negative because it has a negative connotation. And when you do not highlight and repeat that prestige is JUST an option, many will just ignore it. I think this was a perfect example of marketing gone wrong. Please learn from this and do better next time. Hopefully that next time, you'll sneak in a prestige system (not named prestige) and not get it polled.
