I have been playing RuneScape for 14 years, off and on, and have not maxed yet. I'm not interested in quests and mini games, but I am interested in level gains . Why not add 6 capes just for maxing levels? It could have stepping stones also. You could leave the max cape where it is all skills 99 then make a trimmed version with all skills 120. Since some people are more combat oriented, you could have a maxed cape for combat skills, then a master 120 combat maxed cape. Some people are more oriented to skiller mind set, so a maxed skiller cape and a master maxed skiller cape could be made. Each cape would have its own perks. Max guild could also be updated to have sections for each type maybe and each skills guild could be updated also.

It occurs to me, whilst this discussion is occurring, it would be really really great if you started adding achievements into the game with each weekly update. This will let people start to work on any new requirements.

However, as the design doc is not yet completed, don't make them required for the capes, only add to the RuneScore, or use an empty marker... For example, the Inferno Adze ~ redoing beacons, so we don't need to redo things we've already done.

Once the discussion is completed, then we can debate whether or not the new achievements can be added to the comp/comp(t)/qc/mqc.

I certainly like that idea, especially considering that achievements should be a fairly simple way to keep players occupied for a while.

This exists, and is called expert skillcapes.

Yes, I would prefer this being a T3 too.


SKILLS:

*Move Rank 1 Esteem Runespan to T2. This is extremely easy to AFK and I don't think it's necessary to be on T3.
*Move 'of Daemonheim' title to T3.

AREAS:
*Salty and Sandy Titles should be T3. These take a very long time and need to be highly ranked. Salty is 5x more difficult than Sandy.
*Music Maestro should be T3. While it's "easy", it's an end game exploration achievement.
*Mazcab Teleport to T3. Expensive, or rare drop.

The current permanent stat boosts you're suggesting raises two problems:
1)They're not equivalent to the current comp cape and we'll be losing stats. Comp cape currently gives +43 in all combat. The +5 in combat stats suggested only give us +36 if we wear the next highest tier cape during combat.
2) We completely lose the Hybrid-state of the cape. This has to be balanced out a little better, and carefully. I doubt the PVMing community will be pleased to be losing stats upon this update.


I completely agree with everything you've said here. This would be a great tweak if they could add this into the document design. The adjustments you've made on here make this seem worth wanting to go for if they decide to do it this way. So far, I'm slowly warming up to this rework, but hoping it won't happen for another year, hopefully.

TIER 2 ACTIVITIES, Vinesweeper requirement: dig up 13 potato seeds.

Wtf??? Is this a joke? The goal in Vinesweeper is NOT to dig up potato seeds.

This is equivalent to replacing reaper req with "die to all bosses at least once".

Also, like everyone else said, 120s should not be tier 1 skills.

I want to achieve comp mainly for cosmetic purposes cuz it looks really cool, atm im like 100m xp + reaper title off from getting it. Is there any sense to progress knowing theres huge update coming in and all my effort can just end up worthless?
