@Seasons Past:
I think treasure trails need a refresh to include beginner clue scrolls just for f2p. Just to report on my analysis and take ideas that are free to play and basing off in RSOS Treasure Trails.
Simple Clues can be both a beginner and an easy clue scroll. So it can overlap. In total, there are 72 simple clues, while free to play has 44 versus member has 28. For an estimate, 60% of the clues are in the f2p area. If Brimhaven is added to the extension, then just move 2 from p2p into f2p.
For Emote Clue, more likely beginners can have new ones to use. If it overlaps with easy, it is also possible. There are a total of 27 easy clues, of which 19 are in the f2p area.
For clues using maps, easy, medium, and hard overlap, and wilderness is in only hard clues. Add beginners; 9 clues are only in nonmember areas of the total of 22 clues. So assuming 40% of the map clue is in free-to-play areas
Finally, for the cryptic clues, 35%, which is 58 of the 92 total clues, are in f2p. If adding area in extensions, then 8 to 9 more can go to f2p.
For rewards,I think wizard-trimmed equipment should be for beginners instead of easy, which will use spider silk-trimmed equipment. Add basic low-tier trimmed bronze and leather equipment. A bronze cane and a trimmed amulet of defense would be possible.
If beginner clues are not possible, unlike in RSOS, then easy clues will be cool to have.
