Wanting to add a comment for the agility arena. I don't think it's really a good idea incorporating that thing unless it is re-designed from scratch - it aged horribly even in OS, which bothered to implement some rudimentary fixes (granted - to make it a viable post 99 activity ), which are entirely missing in RS3 - it has horrible failure rates up to the mid 60s (considering this is an activity without any hard level requirements and in theory allowing to everything from 40 onwards) and I wouldn't call its 'gameplay' as super enriching. Either it punishes you harshly for not getting to a pillar in time due to crappy failure rates you can't really affect, until you're much higher levelled or it forces you to wait for the pillar to switch again - which doesn't contribute to good game flow either.

Yeah once again they obviously could fix those asinine RSC failure rates for lower levels (I mean yeah you could cheese it with the sure footed aura - but since we're talking about an activity for beginners...), but would make it engaging? Doubtfully - they had planned an higher levelled variation (for levels 80 and higher) around 2014/2015, but they quickly scrapped the concept once again - and this was at a time, in which the game desperately needed more agility combat. Can't really say this 10 years later - prif, anachronia and het happened after all since then.

All in all - I am all open for making something new out of it, but as it stands it probably would be better to blast this thing to oblivion before even considering to incorporate it into some kind of f2p expansion.

If you want to get rid of the tai bwo wannai cleanup, you should keep the lots and lots of unique rewards and interactions with other content in mind - for instance you'll have to play this minigame for the my arm's big adventure quest or the karamja diary. How do you want to solve all those issues and how do you want to redistribute all those rewards?

I mean yeah it's yet another activity, that really just aged like milk - it's sluggish and rather unrewarding, but to be fair I don't think it is that bad by its general premise to maintain that village, so probably a remaster probably could work wonders - especially with a graphical rework for the area as a whole. We still have early RSHD buildings there with modern lighting and ground textures after all.

As for the activity itself - make it play more fluently, incorporate the fletching skill in addition to woodcutting, buff up the experience rates to feel it worthwhile - maybe even with level scaling, make the gout tuber much more common, improve the mechanic to claim your trading sticks. That all are things that could go a long way. There are certainly more things, since this just were some basic issues that instantly came up my mind.

I like the free access to the hardwood grove upon quest completion. OS has locked it behind the elite diary, but since this isn't a thing in RS3, it would make a good additional reward for the quest.

So far we do have a ice queen already in game.
This is a quest boss.

Maybe make it a unlock able boss after the quest and let it drop mid lvl things?

I do support lot more low to mid lvl gameplay honestly, but making it all f2p sadly not sry.
It would be weird to have everything unlock able and kinda play all the way to mid/ low high end content and start member then.

My Arm's Big Adventure is the reason I thought to remove it. If it's taken off the requirements for that quest, I wouldn't mind keeping it. I guess I could've added that as a suggestion instead of removing the minigame, but it would be P2P and therefore outside the scope.

I took out the suggestion of removing Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup and also managed to squeeze most of my Hunter suggestions back in.

I think the issue is, that that quest is heavily interwoven with the minigame on a narrative level - obviously while you can find tubers very, very rarely as part of the regular game play loop, you earn one in the quest by getting the villagers to trust you enough. This isn't solved by just removing the requirement (or outright the minigame), you basically would need to rewrite the majority of the quest afterwards. And I doubt anybody at Jagex would see this worth it for some quest ready to get its driver's license. Jup Stu does a lot to fix old quests to make them feel like more modern ones, but that's certainly on a much more basic level than this.

You want to add the main body of Karamja to the free version without it providing much value as it currently stands, so I certainly would take the chance to get a few interesting pieces of content added to it. While the clean-up never was convincing as a woodcutting activity - and it especially isn't in a way more modern context, it potentially could be when it would be multi-skill with decently enough experience rates and appealing rewards.

Seeing releases like accidental firemaking and fletching or archaeology, I certainly do believe, that this game still allows for more complex game play loops when it comes to skilling. But they obviously should be worth your time.

After glancing at the quest guide, I remembered how integral Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup is to the quest. Here are a few improvements for the minigame:

Woodcutting
-Instead of discovering gem rocks while clearing the jungle, players would regularly receive geodes as when mining
* Sedimentary geodes would be found in light and medium jungle, while igneous geodes would be obtained from dense jungle
-The following content would become F2P:
* Igneous geode
* Dragonstone jewellery and Lvl-5 Enchant spell
* Snakeskin armour
* Spirit mosquito pouch
* Tribal masks

Fletching/Crafting
-Thatch spars would first be fletched into fence pieces, awarding Fletching XP. One action would begin the process for the whole inventory, identically to regular Fletching
-Fence pieces would then be used to repair the existing fences, awarding Crafting XP
* As with Fletching, the player would continue performing the action until no more items remain in the backpack
* Fence pieces would be stackable

Fishing
-Ability to exchange raw karambwan for large amounts of favour
* Players must have caught the karambwan themselves

Combat/Prayer
-Killing jogres anywhere on Karamja would award favour
-Ability to cremate jogre bones on the fires south of Tai Bwo Wannai, awarding favour
* Would not require the Cremation ability

Rewards
-Bank deposit box unlocked by getting 100% favor, replacing the parcel service
* Upgraded to a bank chest as a reward from the Medium Karamja achievements

As written, the main reward would be the deposit box. Experience in Woodcutting, Fletching, Crafting, Fishing, combat, and Prayer would be compensation for the player’s time, with the associated activities offering a range of options to unlock the main reward.

Clean-up and Tai bwo favour suggestions generally sound very nice. I think they probably could do more - especially when it comes to how fluent this piece content would play out, but it's certainly a good start.

As for your ranged armours - they've introduced undead dragonhide meanwhile - currently being a t75 tank armour used to create the t90/92 (elite) dracolich power sets.

I would propose a couple of things:

- Undead dragonhide becomes a set of standard t90 tank armour.
- Black, Royal and Undead dragonhide will have nerfed stats compared to other t70/80/90 armours, akin to their regularily smithable melee counterparts. They won't feature some +x system, they're just worse to incentivize to engage with more advanced content.
- Update the crafting requirements to 60/70/80/90 crafting. They've also fixed those recently, but if the armour is to become more powerful, those should be increased as well.
- Dinosaur armour instead becomes a set of t75 power armour. Update the crafting requirements to 75 crafting.
- While at crafting, they also should review the requirements of certain pieces of jewellery. Diamonds and Dragonstones are cuttable at 43 and 55 respectively, the amulets on the other hand require levels 70 and 80. While most jewellery should be brought much closer to the cutting requirements of their respective gems, I always felt those two pieces to be especially glaring. I think some working formula could be +1/2/3 levels for necklaces, bracelets and amulets respectively. While the tiering of them gems (and in extension rings) themselves can be weird at times (dragonstone is 55, onyx is 72, hydrix is 79), I don't think they're so off they would require additional action, alchemical gems are fine either with their more custom level requirements.
