Sorry it was late, but here are my ideas for summoning. I took inspiration ideas from real life, myth, folklore and cultural enviornment.

For woodcutting, a
wooden termite
will have an invisible buff of woodcutting and have a chance to make an early-level wood spirit for the following wood. Regular, oak, willow, and maybe teak trees. So this would give a chance for F2P gathering wood spirits.
Wooden termite
is needed to be made using a log and a
gold charm
.

Deadfowl
can keep farming as is. But for the magic buffs familiar with beasts, here is my new suggestion. A
spirit fox
would be a good candidate for a magic or necromancy summons due to myth and folklore. This would align with the spirit theme of the spider and wolf. The spirit fox needs a
gold charm
and
a fire rune
.

We could have a
spirit moth
for necromancy; they represent, in some cultures, death animals. This would boost necromancy skills by an invisible +1, and the ingredients to make it are a
gold charm
and ash.

Sandy Chimp
has an invisible bonus of crafting but also has a low chance to save one soft clay. It requires a
gold charm
and monkey bones.

Since this thread includes Tier 60 equipment, I suggest gravite weaponry should have an upgrade similar to Dragon to Superior Dragon with a wilderness hilt. In order to make gravity relevant, I suggest using material to tier 65
"magnific" gravite weaponry
. I would like to go resources from other places like minigames such as FOG or stealing creation, and the final place would be able to trade these materials and dungeoneering tokens to make the upgrade gravite weaponry.

I have updated the enemy list and quest list. If Tier 60 equipment is going to be in the near future, then
Water Fiend
will have a minor chance to be in f2p. I moved the Family Crest quest to Section D because it was reworking a quest. I had similar thoughts about
"Wanted"
quest but decided to ignore it.

I guess add
mahogany bows
to the mix for Tier 40 weapons, similar to how mahogany logs used to make adamant crossbows. Yew will bump up to tier 50 and magic for tier 60 using a
dragon
or
orkalkum arrows
. It would be consistent to make crossbows and bows with the same logs in mind. Elder bow weapons will also be higher tier update.

I think we have a couple of issues in here with the jewellery:

- I don't think gems and jewellery are fully fit to be squished into a classical tiering system, especially considering semi-precious (lapis, opal, jade and topaz) and regular gems (sapphire to hydrix) are two distinct series of progression (that is why the lower enchantment spells allow to enchant jewllery made from both kinds of gems).
- You basically would move most gems to a later point in progression as they are right now, my issue in here is less how and when you unlock the gems themselves (since they never felt off even back in the day), but rather some pieces of jewellery made from those gems (as I said - a diamond amulet is just a bade joke for a f2p ironman, when you actually could cut the gem almost 30 levels prior to that).

If you leave out the semi precious gems (since they're just a fully different thing), a diamond would also rather be a tier 40 gem if you were to introduce one every 10 levels. But yeah I don't think everything should be squished into a classical tiered system - alone if you'd look at how many empty levels this would leave then. Especially since jewellery only starts to become progressively more powerful from diamond to hydrix for amulets only - everything else is rather some piece of utility - or different combat roles for amulets.

- You would give players access to the gems themselves, but you would only allow them doing something with them even further down the road, since you always unlocked the gem itself, as well as the ring to do something with said gem at the same time.

In general how big the level difference in the end would be is up to debate (I think 2/4/6 levels are fine either, but knowing jagex they would unlock everything at the same time even), but you certainly shouldn't give players some material and nothing to do with it for some time longer. Even the old smithing system gave you a few things to smith alongside the new bar from the get-go.

A bit of topic - a few game jams ago they teased on an entirely new gem and amulet, albeit they haven't shared any details about it - or even mentioned it once more afterwards.

https://nitter.net/JagexSponge/status/1673681093688524804

I think it's possible they could release this thing as the new top tiered gem and adjust the existing jewellery at the same time, since things are - if we also take regard of the alchemical gems - already fairly cluttered in the 90s (for instance you learn the hydrix amulet and the vastly more powerful essence of finality both at level 99). I mean they also could do the fletching thingy squish it in to have some kind of scenario in which you unlock ammunition for levels 60, 70, 80 and 95 all at the same time at level 95.

I like the idea of a fox as a Magic archetype, but it should have a non-stackable item for its ingredient. Since foxes are rare in game and don't have a distinctive drop, I would alternatively suggest a spirit owl, which would use raw chicken/bird meat. I like the moth for Necromancy, as in the expression, like a moth to a flame . I also think having a primate for Crafting would be perfect.

I would like a
spirit owl
that could make sense as a magic summon. I guess owl could make sense to get raw bird meat or a feather, and deadfowl already uses chicken meat. Another suggestion if foxes could not work, then
spirit rabbits
are the next best thing. In western culture, rabbits are associated with luck, magic, and witches. Then a gold charm and rabbit meat would be good requirements for a pouch as an alternative.

Instead of beaver,
wooden termites
make sense as a weaker woodcutting summon. Beaver is original level would work to give an extra log at a low chance.

What are you thought about re-tiering yew and above bows to add
mahogany bows
? From my post above.
