As the Taverley Dungeon contains higher level monster for F2P tokill.
That is another reason it should be f2p

As for the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, f2p do need a light source you can buy them at some shops. But there isn't a easy way for a new player to figure out how to get a light source.

Parts of the Edgeville Dungeon isn't f2p? I didn't know this.
I go to the area quite a bit for the herb drops in members.

Here is another reason to make Rag and Bone Man and All Fired Up f2p.
The quests NPC's have a role in the f2p quest Missing, Presumed Death.

As for Easy Wilderness, Chaos Altar and Chaos tunnels should be f2p.
However there is a task Ten-uous Link.
This tasks is super easy in the f2p wildy and very hard in the members wildy.
I would make the tasks Med Wilderness will we are at it.

As for Easy Daemonheim

Daemonheim is a f2p 120 skill. Allowing combat familiar in Daemonheims would be very helpful. For Sinking Fast, I don't like skillholes and Ironman can't do them, so just allow f2p to do the task the same way Ironman do it.
About A Flicker in Darkness, I don't know to avoid the Divination requirement.

How will the new f2p Hunter area's make the Members game better? Because early game members hunter needs help.

On Taverley Dungeon, that was my thinking as well. Given that Taverley doesn’t have any challenging F2P combat, it would make sense for at least the first part of the dungeon to be F2P.

For the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, I would add a message saying someone nearby might be able to provide a lightsource. This message would play after the warning when trying to enter the caves without a lightsource. I don’t think it would hurt to have a finished bullseye lantern available in Bob’s Brilliant Axes. Given that Bob sells pickaxes, it’s not too much of a stretch for him to also sell lanterns.
It would also make sense for F2P to get glassblowing to make lantern lenses before the caves. As Entrana has a sandpit and seaweed for glassblowing, I would release Entrana first. Entrana also has the dungeon for the Lost City quest, which would go nicely with the Swamp Caves.

Yeah, that part is actually members’. Everything north of the gate is P2P.

I think that’s a good point about the quest NPCs. It’s awkward that their own quests are still P2P.

For the Chaos Tunnels, I don’t know if it’s necessary to make them F2P just to complete Taking the Subway . There’s a lot of stuff in there that would decimate new players. I also don’t know if I’d go as far as Medium Wilderness achievements. I agree on the Chaos Temple (as distinguished from the Runecrafting altar, but that too) becoming F2P.

For Sinking Fast , I suggested talking to Talsar instead because Sinkholes are P2P. F2P wouldn’t be able to complete the regular or the ironman version, so they would need something different. A Flicker in Darkness is why I would release Daemonheim achievements with Divination.

I wrote suggestions for improving early Hunter training; see “Skill Training Methods” in my signature. The Hunter improvements would be released along with the Hunter extension.

According to the wiki, only four monsters drop gold charms in f2p. I would like to suggest that f2p should have many f2p monsters that drop gold charms in p2p. Please make a note of this. A good source of looting gold charm and experience are deadly red spiders, ice giants, and hellhounds.

I would like to see green charms in F2P because dragons and giants drop good sources. Just make the summon spirit scorpion green charm instead of a crimson charm.

So, for my idea of summoning skills to include f2p familiarity for skill boosts, I am still putting thought into it.

Just to let you know, the draconic visage item is in f2p as a KBD drop, but there is nothing used for it in f2p.

Since non-necromancy combat skills are under revision (credit to Rikornak), there is a change that could make damage calculation a potential buff, and defense should be updated. This may include enemies as well.

I should update the list to include elite monsters because they have different behaviors and stats than regular variants. I will update the post that lists the enemies.

Another reason to have black demons (both traveley dungeon and the wild) in f2p is because their stats, including max hit, are less than those of elite greater demons.

Black Dragons can be considered if defense gets an upgrade, but if unprepared dragonfire attacks in f2p would be difficult to solo and hit higher than KBD. This one can be considered, but it could be a pipe dream.

I would consider the Waterfiend, but the elite version is way more powerful in terms of stats than the Choas Elemental. Waterfiend is out.

I hadn't considered that free players might be missing out on a lot of charm drops. I've updated the Herblore & Summoning Extension so that gold and green charms would drop normally from all sources on F2P worlds. I also changed spirit scorpions to require green charms.

It's clear that my combat knowledge isn't up to date and hasn't been for many years. I'll refrain from weighing in on the subject for the future.

@Seasons Past:

Do not back down on the combat topic; we do not know what the new changes to the main three styles will be like. All I know is that Mod Ryan is trying to craft a combat system similar to necromancy.

For monsters, all I used was a list of possible monsters that would work in f2p and a spreadsheet or Excel to compare the data stats (from the wiki) of current high-level monsters. Comparing attack, max hit, HP, and defense is easy to assume.

If we work together, we can find a higher-level monster that would work. You can use it to refer to the monster considered in f2p.

Currently, in the f2p for range weakness, all enemies are in the wilderness, with the exception of lesser demons, who are also in Karamja. Crandor expansion and Traveley Dungeon can fix more places to spawn green dragons, blue dragons, and weaker hellhounds.

Updated with non-boss Kalphite enemies added to the list.

If jagex does not use vanilla for farming, I think vanilla cow should be added to the cooks guild. This would help create a vanilla cheesecake. Chocolate milk can be made in P2P by mixing chocolate dust and milk. The chocolate bars are bought in Port Sarim and Traveley. Chocolate bars can be converted into chocolate dust. Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry cows are on a farming guild or player-owned farm. Vanilla and strawberry milk are f2p.

Garden Pie should be made f2p as well. All ingredients are f2p.

Potato with butter and potato with cheese should also be in f2p since the ingredients are in f2p.

Creating these foods falls under cooking level 55.

Adding a vanilla cow to the Cooks' Guild would solve the issue for vanilla milk. If they don't add new Farming crops, they should axe the needless step of grinding chocolate bars to make chocolate dust.

I think ideally, players should be able to source all of the ingredients themselves, for two reasons:
1. Realism - Getting flavored milk directly from cows strains the limits of plausibility even in a magical game.
2. Consistency - It doesn't make sense to be able to mix one's own chocolatey milk but not do the same for vanilla and strawberry.

Agreed on garden pie. The pie grants a Farming boost, which would go well with the Farming Extension and new vanilla and cocoa crops.

Everything in Cooking with F2P ingredients should be F2P.

The Farming Extension should probably accompany similar updates for Cooking. It's becoming clear that there is a lot of Cooking content that could and probably should be F2P, such as brewing.

With a Farming Extension and garden pie, free players could boost to level 23. This would give non-members access to Krandorian hops (21), cadavaberry bushes (22), and scarecrows (23). Krandorian hops would be useful for brewing, while cadava berries are used in necromancy potions, which would become available with a Herblore Extension.
