Perhaps a system can be added in where finished products can be exchanged for experience based on the skill level and resources required to create it
This system does have the potential for abuse, with rich people buying up hundreds of thousands of items in order to level up fast.
There could be many "blocks" put in place to prevent this from happening
1) An EXP cap to how much experience you can gain from converting finished products to exp every day
2) You can only convert to EXP products that you've created yourself
There are probably more, but that's all I could come up with for now
