NO! G/E is for Easy Scape (RS3). Keep it real, the trading post was and still is a great solution. If anything should be done it should be to update the trading post. This is not RS3 and I would appreciate it staying that way.

I disagree with a GE. This ruins the title of "OLDSCHOOL" even more than it already is with the addition of NMZ. If we could play runescape without a Grand Exchange back in 2007, we can play now without it.

Absolutely not, the addition of the grand exchange would ruin 07. The game would become way to simple and easy. Instantly selling and purchasing ruins prices of items. People would be able to sell their entire bank instantly, instead of having to take time to sell their items. The Grand exchange ruined the game before it'll ruin it again.

Will be voting yes for the GE, sitting around waiting for hours to buy and sell items puts me off playing the actual game. I'm not quite sure what the current system has to do with player interaction, other than having to find out where the other player is and saying "thanks" there isn't much more social interaction to trading. I'm unsure on how an automated trading system will have such a large effect on the economy if trading is still free and prices are merely tracked, something that already happens on trading websites like zybez? If this is such a major problem, could prices just not be tracked or suggested?

I can understand why people don't want the G.E... with the server being all "oldschool", but it's not oldschool anymore because of the huge updates that have happened. Yet having said this.. the majority of the community are in favour of these updates.

Personally I'm voting yes to the G.E because I believe if it's voted no then of course the Trading Post will be updated to allow buy offers and then what's next? It will be updated again to automatically match buy and sell offers, effectively making it a G.E.
