I've had some MyProtein samples in the past and before my current tub (Matrix anabolic) I had some from Bulk Powders.
I always start off liking the taste of whatever I buy but when I get to ~2kg left, I start to really go off it every time.
The solution would, of course, be to buy 2 x 2.5kg tubs in various flavours rather than 1 x 5kg of one flavour but usually end up making the same mistake.
My previous protein from Bulk Powders I ended up selling to a friend because I went from loving the taste to retching every time I had to chug one down.
BUY UNFLAVOURED! Cheaper and you can add
whatever you want

Cravings FROM carbs? :o On the contrary, carbs are good stomach fillers!
Yes I agree! Except when it comes to things like breads, rice, and
normal potatoes
(might be just me). Basically, anything
lacking nutrients
Wut
Feel like you can get way more out of other vegetables, when you're on a calorie budget, I'm thinking more weight loss than bulking, sorry. As the amount of nutrients in a potato itself, it does have a good amount, but by calories you can get way more worth your budget elsewhere. (think of broccoli just as an example.)

Very true. To be fair, I just cook myself a roast dinner every day. 250g chicken breast, 200g of potatoes, 100g of carrot and peas, 75g of runner beans and brocolli. It's biuriful.
Anyone else here like kidney beans? FOOD OF THE GODS.
Again, nether.

Do you take BCAAs as well?
The amino acid profile seems really good if that's p/ 100g.
I'm looking for something with a better amino acid profile myself because the protein I use is lower than I'd like and I don't want to be paying extra for BCAA tablets.
ive supplemented with bigass BCAA pills before but right now just the bcaa values in the shake
no difference noted when i was supplementing with bcaa and that shit costed me alot and most good protein shakes have some bcaa's in them
im pretty convinced that all the extra supplements are just a run for your money cause ive supplemented the shit out of everything (even some stuff made me vomit) and all i gained from it was moneyloss lol
BCAA's are a god send when you're working new muscle groups really hard for the first time in a while or when doing hard core cardio workouts that stress your muscles. I generally take it after every workout cuz i prefer to feel like i got run over by a train after working out.

Kidney beaaansss!
As for unflavoured whey , where I buy mine it costs as much as the rest.
I have to say I've never been put off by a taste I tried (4.5kg tubs) after a while.
I think they're up to 30 different flavours atm, right now I've got 'chocolate cookie milkshake' flavour, next one will probably be cookies & cream again
The best taste I've ever had before must be pistacchio flavour, but that was from performance and they cost like €30 for 900 grams, which I don't have the budget for :/
(Secretly hoping my usual seller will add pistacchio to the flavours, hehe)
My dog loves them too! (I let him lick my cup when I'm done lol)

Black beans will always be #1 for me, but kidney beans come a close second! Either way, any kind of beans tend to have godly attributes!
