They can't get the nonprofit tax benefits. I also want to say that they can show a profit for several other reasons, but, tbh I hate the tax side and find it rather boring. And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known

And perpetual energy might not be as far off as you might think. Of course, something like perpetual energy would obviously be suppressed from the general public. Too much money to lose.
