This is admittedly less of a "skilling" quality of life and more of a general one (though it's not a bad thing to have for Wilderness skilling), but could checking the Aura time remaining of the Aegis Aura also show us how much more damage it can absorb before it stops working like other Auras that have secondary limits (Jack of All Trades showing what skills it needs, Festive Aura's XP limit, etc.)? There's currently no way of checking how much damage reduction is left in its tank, and I imagine people have had the misfortune of running out of juice at inopportune times.
For that matter, the Aegis Aura's description would really benefit from being updated; it's just a generic "Creates a protective shield" instead of talking about what it actually does (unlike other Auras which describe the exact effects of what they do), let alone its limits.
