It'd be beyond the scope of a CEO but man, if I had the authority, I'd fire the crap out of every executive and buy out every board member at the company and (if it were legal) make it very public why I did so.

Jagex is dead to me at this point.

I will 100% find the people in charge of the companies' products to communicate with the players for the worthiness of the pending subscription price increase.

I 100% understand consumers pay for transparency of the goods.

I 100% will find out who's big idea is it to not even let RS3 announce who is their EP, and why they can't tell my consumers what content they are selling?

To commence such communication process, I will definitely need to remind myself I am the CEO of Jagex, not merely just the CEO of a certain game or project of Jagex. I have the responsibilities to show, or command my managers of each of the games and projects of Jagex to show my customers and my shareholders, who happen to be the investors of one of the very biggest private equity investment fund in the REAL WORLD. I can't assume my investors are fools who will put their REAL money on products they have no information on.

I will start with RS3. I will need an the person in charge to give me a written explanation of the complete lack of project information and what projects they are going to put up in the coming months, if not year. Of course, I will need his name too so I can at least brief my customers and investors. And I needed it yesterday.

Well, I would start a new project called Evolution of Summoning. Summoning is functionally dead besides BoB's and some specific familiars. Fighters weren't great before EoC and are totally useless today. With EoS, I would have more quests that explore the lore of certain familiars, like my favourites: the Titans. Nothing to see here.

Take note of the game, all that it has down to its functionality and mechanics, at a foundational level, take the core components of all that is in the game, get a good overview and then create a vision for the direction of the game. Be a facilitator of vision.

Focus on what would take the least amount of work for the most impact, that adds to the progression of the game in all that it is. Be scalable in efficiency.

Reason and measure priorities on tiers, get a great idea on what's most important and least. Work on the absolute necessities first but have time to work on the subjective ideas to grow an understanding of what is to be done. Have priorities and goals clearly defined. Be the overview of generations.

Know subjective notions of value in implementing them into value for the game. Transition your person as a whole into the direction of the game. Know that reason could only go so far but faith pushes it further. What works through you is your belief in what is moving you on a grand scale. Be ascending in aspirations.

I will honestly tell Carlyle Group competitions are enormous and Jagex is behind the eight ball.

News like the country of Saudi Arabia's public investment fund buying significantly stakes in Embracer Group and Nintendo pops up almost daily now. Soon AAA games will be history when gamers begin to talk about AAAA games.

Barring any bigger product release like RS4 and the unannounced Survival Craft game in a year, I think Jagex will lose significant market values and may even have a chance to disappear in a few years. Indies studios will have a very hard time to survive.

Assuming my CFO and COO (if there is one) tell me there are no other significant products in the company's pipeline, I will recommend to the Board to look for M&A partners. Hopefully some big fish will bite, well, hopefully not Big Fish Casino though.

Of course, I will need to emphasize on high profit margin assets and IP and stay away from high cost and low return ones.
