3. I would ordered all game content be converted to VR only.

Think about it, fighting something like a KDB in VR would be badass.

Just some Fally guards and no tick system, but here's a minor taste of VR

I would've made some different choices with the writing on some of the quests. More quest continuations of plotlines that have been left hanging, some reworking of old, outdated quests like converting elemental workshop into a form that's less of a pain to make armour with. More quests that don't necessarily have to happen in the "present" of the timeline to better explore unused story opportunities.

V wouldn't die pointlessly, Zamorak would either actually die at the battle of lumbridge as promised or not be rebranded as a freedom fighter. His philosophy can still have appeal even as an unapologetic jerk. I'm fine with Zaros being a villain but I really don't like the way they made him not care about his followers and the plan they gave him for his role as an antagonist. There were better ways of making him a villain. Make Rasial less annoying.

TH no longer exists. Lamps and stars significantly less plentiful. Proteans removed. Skilling stations retooled for in game skilling content. Dummies probably also removed but could be retooled as well. Holiday events return to being questy, no skill or rare grinds. Holiday storylines that can be made into proper quests remain accessible to complete. Guild reworks.

Skill and minigame reworks. Website much more helpful at providing centralized information to players. Forums kept in good condition and taken into account for player feedback. In game social features significantly improved, especially clans. Less bossing/PvM content to focus on more varied content additions/improvements. Better communication on things like rebalancing the game economy and other major changes affecting players. Downscaling reliance on RNG where it isn't needed.

1) Bring the forums into modern times. Offshoring an essential means of communication between players and the Jagex team to a third party is a bad idea. Make sure that there are dedicated Jagex staff who are engaging with and promoting use of these forums.

2) Begin the process of developing content to bring other skills to the 120 mark, beginning with Woodcutting: the imcando hatchet update was a step in the right direction, but ultimately a disappointment. 120 woodcutting needs to happen before Firemaking, Fletching, Construction, and other such skills can have paths for development. We have had plenty of combat updates for quite some time, let’s involve the skillers again please.

3) New community leaders to help bridge the wants and needs of different types of players; being an older game, we likely have both younger players as well as older ones such as myself.

4) A return to the old world, medieval flavour that Runescape was so popular for in the beginning. Fort Forinthry was a great way to bring this back, let’s expand on this concept of world building and development using existing skills, items and quests.

I'd think so, but there are other site tasks that seem to be higher priority for the team. :(
This, pretty much. While I agree the forums are needing to be updated/have some more features, the rest of the website needs to be updated first. We've seen updates happening slowly with the Support Centre, News Posts and now the website as a whole, which is now mobile friendly. Let's hope the forums are soon to follow. ;)
Since RuneScape was the first getting the overhaul 'The Office' is the last and definitely the most difficult/complex overhaul with the greatest risk and The RSOf probably the final overhaul.
Now we are ready for greater tasks ahead ... I still love your work day after day, yours efforts are appreciated and enjoyed.
There's no goodbye ... there's ... until the next milestone in endavours of Jagex/JMods and our living on '
The Internet
'.

We are ready ...

I am drooling over Palworld's crazy, unthinkable success. While I admire how some tiny indie failing Cinderella can turn into the new Domina of the game industry, I have to ask myself and my crews why we only have sucky roadmap and even no roadmaps for our games and no PR on our future corporate strategies????

when a 5 day old game can show the Press their big future plans and roadmap, why can't a 23 year old Jagex do the same?

Just play/enjoy RuneScape/OldSchool RuneScape, nothing more is asked from you.
