The incredibly obvious fact is the news Jagex has retained Morgan Stanley and Areeen Co. for the sale of the company has been reported for almost a month. How come nobody went to Court to try to stop the Carlyle Group?

Yes, I know the charges against Carlyle have been dropped as I was the one who told you on page 18 of this thread. The links prove they was on the original documents and it's the same case number. Proof of ownership has not been settled. Carlyle has been removed from all the other charges because it happened before they were involved, it does not mean they own Jagex when the sellers had no right to sell in the first place. Like I said it's the same case number. Either way IT DOES affect them.

To answer your question which I already said on the last page is they could be selling to Plutos or to add to that Plutos may have agreed to an outside sale and they get 55% of the money if they prove ownership come June. Morgan Stanley as a middleman bank could keep hold of the money till then....but that's just me guessing.

I should be starting to work with Morgan Stanley et al on increasing the values of high potential products from SCUM, Pipeworks and Jagex Partners games, especially when everything else has been dead in the water half way through DMM.

So we should know why we hired Rashid Varachia as our CFO in late 2021, right?

Of course, I will be working with this financial veteran with vast experience in M&A in his career to try to get the most out of selling Jagex ASAP.

I know the clock is ticking, and the longer I have to wait for the sale to finally materialize, the riskier the future of Jagex will be given we are maneuvering Jagex in a way to make Jagex look slightly better only in the very short term in the expense of its future health.

That said, I have to make preparation for the future of Jagex if I happen to stay, or to be more practical, I have to plan for my own future in a few months. Looking into the careers of former Jagex CEOs like MMG and Rod Cousens who turned to the financial market side for M&A advisory role, this is probably what I will be taking a long hard look soon.

Time to bring my multi-million selling open world survival title SCUM out of early access and into other platforms and not just Steam. It is going to Console too.

I will launch Jagex Publishing Platform before the sale of Jagex too, so I can tell the buyers Jagex has a lot of huuuggeeee games for their communities of games to choose.

Even more urgency to me to create values for Jagex before the end of the year as the world is going to change after Microsoft ABK finalized their long time engagement.

Hopefully I can help to create value out of unpolished gems from SCUM, Pipeworks and Jagex Partners, or else I have to prepare for the reality the Jenga we have been playing for the recent months to collapse next month.

Of course, I am looking hard to sell Jagex in the coming months, but I will always have to plan for the worst case when new sellers emerge soon they may be ruinous to our plan.

Well, preliminary bidding report seemed is out and they seemed to be pegging the valuation of Jagex at £800 mil, short of the £1 bil my bosses aimed at. Large buyout funds have concerns about the "uncertainty about the company's business plan and development pipeline". I heard that, and I am sure I will have a lot of questions to be answered going forward.

We are approaching the Christmas and New Year traditional holidays though. This CEO has a life too, so I won't be grinding 8-12 hours a day for the next few weeks too. A break is needed but I know I'll better have a detailed report addressing the pressing issues as well as
very good reasons why we did what we have done the last 2 mouths, on the desk of Jagex's boss (or new boss) before they come back after the holiday vacation.

there is a lot I'd do
(1) less MXT yeah I'd be making sure that battle pass never happens again etc
(2) rs classic I'll bring it back for a bit
(3) revamp old content like mini-games and old bosses like KBD QBD etc
(4) revamp some skills that need some TLC
(5) make all combat skills go to 120
(6) make the game so it works with the players and more mods in-game more polls
(7) update old area's this is a must
(8) give events more meaning like in the old days
(9) some will hate this LESS AFK SCAPE sorry not sorry

the list goes on Runescape needs lots of love for it to grow and gain more new players
over the years the game's new players has slowed down and this can be fixed but the mxt thing has to slow down it's slowly killing Runescape one day in the future we will see a message saying we are closing servers O_O

New year and new resolution for Jagex and likely new owner.

I need to get ready to be the CEO of not just RS3, OSRS, SCUM, Pipeworks, unannounced Jagex games and Jagex Partners games, but likely more new games yet to come. As Jagex is moving to become a multibillion dollar market cap company, I need to prepare to be a AAA CEO.
