Jagex, would you cut the crap & quit giving us excuses for your stupid decisions in recent years?

Seriously, whether it's the idea of removing RS from Steam and forcing us to use your garbage launcher under the excuse of "security & convenience" or it's the outright GREED of increasing membership and shop costs using the "inflation" excuse, I'm getting extremely sick of it.

You guys have no LEGITIMATE reason for any of the crap happening to this game. It boils down to greed and a lack of care for the players. I seem to recall that in the 15th anniversary documentary back in 2017, you guys talked about how you had a renewed care for the players and had a desire to be more transparent because the darker years of 2008-2010 were not good for the players, the game or the company... yet that same crap is happening AGAIN, you're just getting good at making excuses about it.

I've decided that I'm done giving money to Jagex. I'll still keep my mems if I can swing the bonds (there's a chance I won't be able to, given your recent greed-fueled decision) but you will not be receiving a cent from me again until things improve.

I have played and loved this game for 18 years (not all on this account) and nearly a whole YEAR straight of my life. I have spent thousands on this game over that time and have done my best to be fair and voice constructive criticism when necessary. Shoot, I used to even be a straight-up fanboy at one point. However, in the past 6-8 years or so, the company has continued to make random idiotic decisions that have severely hurt my trust in a company I used to love.

I really wish someone who actually CARES about the game and the players would take over Jagex because the dev teams are some of the coolest, most passionate developers I know of. I hate that I've been pushed to not paying them for their great work but I cannot, in good conscience, support a company that acts the way Jagex has.

There MUST be a balance of profit and integrity. ~

Maybe you should move to the moon ... given the reasons you seem to respond to bad decisions that are made in RuneScape/Jagex ... the world we live in reflects the same situation with lots of bad decisions.

The only thing I am not buying is the devs being some victim here. On some level they are doing a great job. Yes. Our characters move in the proper direction and things don't randomly explode and flip the map.

Their ideas are just crappy. There is no way to get past it.

How hard can it possibly be? You can place objects on a map. Move them. Change their appearance. Remove them.

That covers a lot of gameplay options they are not offering.

They should be able to go in with those basic instructions and deliver the most fun update of the last 10 years. It somehow magically never happens.

they cant give you that information, as that can give rwters inside info on how people get found out.... then it will be easier to get around being found out with that information

I dont agree with the price raise either, €11 is kinda steep for a month. i remember back in the day that we paid prices of €5-6 . That 200% is not inflation, it's the growth of a company, however undoubtedly the developer per <insert-other-employee-type> ratio has gone down (i.e positions like marketing/community-management/art-directors are more common).

Just go to Jagex.com and look at the sheer available careers :

so they were right. You're mental if you throw away that much money for pixel upgrades. The value just doesnt add up.
