Anyway, as I've said before, the two games are completely seperate. If you want a combined chat, there is already friend chat. When was friend chat last updated? Long, long ago (at least, as far as I know).

The downsides to this?
So many technical issues.
Players who only play one game, whether it be RS3 or OSRS, it is an almost completely separate community and doesn't need combining past friend chat.

Technical issues are not our problem, if Jagex struggle to achieve things such as his then they are doing a bad job. Really too many times the "technical issues" excuse is used.

I'd also expect to have a few more kicks and prepare for more arguments between the two sets of players, as the communities are so different.

Whether you accept OSRS or not has absolutely nothing to do with an integration chat system, thats a totally separate issue.

Seeing as it is a constructive route we're going down, I'll make some suggestions on the implementation.

As shown in the picture below, a new icon would be added next to the RS3 clan one which would contain the OSRS clan interface:

The OSRS clan interface would probably be identical to the RS3 one, with the three dots (tabs) at the bottom right of it etc. When you open it up, if you are in an OSRS clan, you would be able to see your OSRS clan (and guest in other OSRS clans) through it. If you are on OSRS, the same would exist for your RS3 one which you can open up.

For those like me and many that don't really care about OSRS and don't want it to be in our way, a toggle would be available in Game/Chat Settings that would hide it completely as if it doesn't exist. Probably something like Enable/disable OSRS features . OSRS would also have the same option for RS3.

Being able to chat in clan chats and cross clan membership are two different things.
