Dungeoneering is an epic failure as a skill. Summoning is an even greater failure, the charms collecting and crab busting just for charms, so much lol on those methods. Rest assure if u lot vote no on sailing, a great deal of us will remember to vote no on those 2 boring skills also.

Way too much toxic players in the game atm, this shouldve been just added without polling, only until we have 75% rejection should sailing not be added. All these noobs want these days is to destroy rs and make it a pre eoc clone

If this skill passes the poll i wonder how they will place it in the stats-section. I would not want to have to scroll to see total lvl or some of the skills like it was on rs after summoning i think.

I hope they place sailing next to hunter where total lvl is now and put total level separate next to minimap, ofc still with the ability to see total xp when holding mouse over.

This is exactly how I feel. If you want Dungeoneering, play RS3. If you want Summoning, play RS3. IF YOU WANT DRAGON CLAWS, PLAY RS3 (even though they're worthless now). It's not that hard to wrap your mind around, and yet so many fail to do so.

I will be voting yes for Sailing. I like the idea of new skills that RS3 doesn't have, and I feel this would make the game even better; I am opposed to the idea of PVP out on the waters, however, because I do not like PKing. Make the PVP optional if you're going to do it at all, not everyone likes PVP or even PVM.

EDIT: I would like to see a bit of development behind Sailing before I vote yes wholeheartedly. If anyone remembers Artisan as a skill, there was a proposed reward for it that would reduce the level requirement for getting multiple runes when Runecrafting, and everyone whined about it. Hell, even I did, because I know that devalued RC quite a bit, but either way my point is that I'd like to know some more concrete features before I make up my mind.

Though I see potential in the skill, I think it would be very important to not make the same mistake by making it more of a minigame. Make the skill practicable on the main world, leave instance based adventures for minigames.


I agree with this. Sailing should use the real map on the oceans and rivers and not be just instanced, though there could be some areas of the sea which are instanced for random islands and battles with NPC ships and monsters and storms, etc.
