Players cry when new stuff comes.. players cry when stuff changes..
However they cry over the skill not being summnoning or dungeoneering like these skills were polled.. they weren't polled if they was back in them days your'd of all voted no now you vote yes because it exists and you can see how good it was back then?
I personally think Jagex should make a beta server to try the skill out so players can see how fun the skill is and vote properly instead of just being given information theres no opinion on something that you havn't even tried thats like people explaining a curry and how it's made whats inside it and you are to answer if you like it without having a taste... the skill needs to be tried out or the community crys over it being a big change.. trust me this is almost fact people won't want something that hasn't been tried for themselves .
If Jagex is reading this do us a favour and release a beta server to try it so we can judge the skill properly from what I can see personally I exspect this to be a good skill but won't pass the polls without us trying it because people hate change (lol bet they hate next years Zeah update!)

OSRS was DYING without having any new updates, and it would die without having any new fresh content. (Not talking about bug fixes & minor quality of life updates). Those are just the facts.
Why doesn't everyone who is scared of change & wants OSRS to stay the way it is quit right now, because it's not gonna happen. It's Old School RuneScape, not 2007 EXCLUSIVE Runescape. The game would slowly die without any new big updates. (As long as it's not EOC, or along those lines obviously...)
Why do you equate not liking a particular pitched update to not liking any new updates at all? That's silly. Not everyone is going to vote for new content for the sake of having new content. So they are whiners if they disagree with you? That statement is dripping in irony in itself.
For me, there is a balance. GWD addition - great. Grand Exchange addition - Didn't like at first but it grew on me. Deadman mode- great in theory, yet to see how good it is in actual practice. Artisan Skill- Wasn't that great. Sailing- Decent.
I agree OSRS needs content updates but not every idea pitched has to be met with resounding approval.
So you admit even though you didn't want g/e when it came you loved it
thats kind of the issue with polls I personally think Jagex need to stop polling every idea they might think it's better to get the communitys opinion but they are mad over changes happening within' the server they seem to think any new content will make the game bad which will make them quit I personally think they're just calling a bluff
but I do agree with you but.. I would say sailings greater than decent it has alot to offer

Pls enable multiple people to access this area. I can't be bothered to get 90 slayer, I got 72 slayer for wyverns and there are multiple bots coming in 4 items lol. Do a total level or something.
Set stuff to private because I know you'll have the odd weirdo looking up your profile
