A lot of players are concerned about this game turning into RS3. I don't understand how you can even compare the two. The updates on RS3 basically affect (most of) the already-existing gameplay while Sailing is a totally brand new concept and aspect to Old School. If Jagex stopped updating Old School, it will basically become like RuneScape Classic. Keep up the good work Jagex. And love how they always get the community involved with the polls.

Yes, absolutely. The Grand Exchange poll and subsequent release taught me to keep more of an open mind on things. So while I'm leaning towards a no right now on Sailing, that doesn't mean I'll be against it when the actual poll hits. I doubt it'll pass the communitys never going to allow new content unless it relates to bossing if it stops them getting max capes sooner or helping them make money they cry about it look at NMZ they wanted that comes out.. they use bursting methods for magic and many more then cry about it after they got 99 magic to stop players using this method.. thats how splashing and more came along lol players really hate it when it doesn't make their XP faster this will stop them getting their max capes on the date they planned to get it.

The big issues they hate change to much the changes of any decent content coming to the games impossible..

Heres what really annoys me..
Any updates from Pre EoC wouldn't of made close to enough votes to pass back then due to us having them without a voting system they put up with it after that the updates were fun and addictive they began to grow on it with content like Sailing they will not give it a try due to having the power to avoid issues like this.. honestly I personally do not think this could be a bad update it could become a great skill and could grow the community the issues the community we already have doesn't want anything new in Old School to me thats so annoying.

I am not saying
I wish they'd vote yes or anything I'm just saying I wish they'd vote for the right answer with good reasons

Tbh doesn"t look that bad a new skill gives us players something to do besides grind boring 200ms also who the heck wamts dung or summoning lol so stupid why people would wamt to bring content already into rs3 is beyond me this is old school its own unique game we dont need to just take skills already in rs3 and copy paste them into old school..

I will personally be voting yes for this update. The concept seems fun and worthwhile. I think it will lead nicely to new area's and add more areas that future updates can be added. I see no negatives to it and i hope it passes In order to move forward in life you sometimes need to take a step back.

This game needs more well rounded updates. Everything for the last year has been combat related, which has made the vast majority of skills in the game useless except for quest requirements. PvE makes a lot more money and monsters drop most skilling products in large quantities. I think sailing could be a good start to fixing this as long as the emphasis isn't on combat.
