I am told that the FMod team are pressing for an official announcement still.
I am curious what it will say. Still, I think it simply not existing is better than the false hope given by it existing but never reviewed.
After consultation, I've hidden a post on the previous page that is inappropriate and off-topic. Please stick to discussing the topic rather than individuals. Thanks!.
Shame. A FMod decided to lock a thread of mine that was almost running for 2 years for no apparent reason, and now I'll never know what will happen with my review on that.

Post in Forum Help to ask for a review, now. There's no other alternative.

I'd rather not ask for a review through this thread unless that is the official way to do so.
It's okay to ask for clarification on Forum Help if you're not sure why they took action, and I imagine with FMR gone they're also more prepared to take on exactly those requests

Not to derail this thread any more than needed, but looking at what I think is the thread in question, it appears the FMod's concern was that the meat and potatoes of your guide was hosted externally (in a Google doc). While I understand that might be easier for you to upkeep and maintain, it does basically just turn the thread into a sort-of talk page about an external document.
What I might do is either:
- Request an unlock of the existing thread with the provision that the content would be moved back
or
- Create a new thread with a couple of extra reserves to give you room for updates, changes, expansion, etc and rework the content back into that thread instead
It's just not intuitive for discussion on a forum if the main contents of the subject are somewhere else. Unlike linking to a news article and saying what you think about the topic and letting everyone go from there, the guide thread was kind of like: Hey, I made a guide. It's not here though, it's over there instead.
The Wiki does already exist for that kind of thing.
As mentioned, though, by both others and FMods - there's no harm in asking for additional clarification of something through Forum Help.
