Why do you say/discuss so little?

Very good question. I'd especially like to see THAT player's contribution to this thread as well ;)

LOL so your response to a request not to make the thread about specific players is... to make it about the specific player posting the request.

Get a grip, you don't have a right to anybody's opinion. It's up to them if they share it or not.

And some FMods prefer not to state opinions because the moment they do, some forum troll will jump up and accuse them of bias, a lack of objectivity, etc. etc. - or just start an argument because they get off on arguing with authority figures or think it makes them look cool. For the FMod, it's just not worth the aggro.

Suggestion: Let the Forums discuss bugs. It's already allowed on Reddit (even Jmods respond to them) so I don't see why they have to be locked here.

I agree, on the condition that a special section is set up for them. Otherwise they will just pollute all the discussion forums and render them less usable.

Personally, I'm not going to take too much issue with this threads closure anymore. It's very clear this place is beyond saving now (and probably has been for a long time); it's actually laughable.

Take care RSOF. I have no worries watching it sink deeper and deeper and watching the numbers dwindle further and further. I do not think there is much need for discussion. The opposition is out and about and deems that there should be zero discussion right now and that the status quo is perfect it seems. Let's leave it at that.

Excellent set of affairs lol. This will now be my last post in this thread in what really is a tragically managed system. Of course, the majority of actions taken on this site are ok, however there are a significant number of actions that are not taken fairly or are taken outside the spirit of the CoC and outside the intentions with which they were previously made, as listed earlier on within this thread.

There is no discussion to be had here and it is simply an illusion that there is one, created by the LMod who possibly had good intentions. We currently have some of the very same issues that were referenced inside the thread going on directly within this thread itself, shamelessly! But again, that goes back to what I and others have mentioned about it being a system with flaws. It is ironic.

No further contributions from myself in this thread. It is a lost cause and I now have no issue allowing it to stay that way.

One post that was targeting a specific player and the manner, in which he/she has posted, has been removed. Another post in response to the derailing post has also been removed.

Please discuss the topic - rather than the players.
Agreed.
There's a giant 'leap of craziness/weirdness/strangeness' in reasoning of Jagex/JMods about The RSOF and the 'Awkward-Standard' they have applied to it.
In RuneScape any player can find him-/herself access to, no matter their walk of life, no matter their intentions as long as it fits the Rules of RuneScape, still Jagex/JMods are lenient/flexible/agile enough to allow a lot of things to happen without too much hassle causing inside RuneScape. As you look closely a lot of mishaps can happen on a daily bases without Jagex/JMods moving an inch from their position.

The RSOF on the other hand is a place where Jagex/JMods their most 'Awkward-Standard' is applied to that goes beyond every reasonable understanding or any normal comprehension.
Here there's some kind of 'elite - extreme high standard' upheld frustrating many many players.
A place slapped of its logic ...

You might encounter something as what happened recently 'Login-Logout issue' however coming here, in the most logical place of all places, you haven't just '1' issue but without knowing 'you'll gain another issue' making a player have 2 issues at hand ... and that can be even more frustrating/devastating.

So being here ... hoping to get clarification/help ... you'll sink away in a well drowning yourself in your own anger and the lust of another individual pushing you under water for your behavior.

Fmod team's made us many favors myself included, awesome guys and gals. The issues i see are related to marketing/promotion and functions of the Forum.
FMods are regulars like us equipped with a broom and mop... don't blame the janitor ;)
What favors are you talking about and what kind of marketing/promotions/functions?
In the light of day, in line with Jagex/JMods 'putting a strike through volunteer work' players might think that a volunteer alike FMods/PMods are slightly on the side of The RuneScape Community, nevertheless the opposite is far more true then a player might imagine.
It is Jagex/JMods their own 'Awkward-Standard' so let it be ... it isn't your FMod standard nor was it your idea in the first place ... or is it?
If you have the same idea of how to run this place as Jagex/JMods then we may conclude that the gap between The RuneScape Community and Jagex/JMods only have become extremely wider, here in The RSOF.
However, outside The RSOF the opposite have been taking place. Awkward!!!

If you follow Jagex/JMods their logic in here, Jagex/JMods putting a strike through volunteer work, Jagex/JMods really do not care what your FMods/LMods opinions are, they are worth as much as our opinions in The RuneScape Community.
Messages like 'I will forward this to Jagex/JMods' ... have no meaning at all nor any emergency.
Totally superfluous!!!
Having a 'special forums for moderators' ... has that any meaning at all? Having discussions with Jagex/JMods, I have a feeling that it is wasted energy.

Why not having discussions in here, in public???

When OSRS told us in every news post to go to Reddit and Discord to discuss, why are we blaming Fmods for the low RSOF engagement?

"That's everything we wanted to share with you this week. We'd love to hear your feedback so please let us know what you think via our official forums, on the 2007Scape Reddit, or the community-led OSRS Discord in the #gameupdate channel."

I agree that a very small number of Fmods are extremely biased but in general most Fmods are following the rules and guide us to use FH and FMR. As for the very few outliners (e.g. Fmods go on their alts to break forum rules or even troll other users, Fmods and Jmods) should not be ignored, but it is a task for Jagex, not us players so we just use FH and FMR. :)
