Would definitely have to be introduced that way. Perhaps not quite one-at-a-time, but definitely in batches, like Summoning, Dungeoneering, and Prifddinas.

One way of making it an even playing ground is after you reach 99 in a skill you choose to take on the challenge of 120 with its own exp bracket the exp you earn is still added to high scores for each skill being trained but the lvls 100-120 has its own separate exp bank that you have to earn the lvls no matter what your current exp is in any giving skill . So when you earn exp it will get added to high scores and the elite skill in 2 separate exp banks

This way everyone is once again on an even playing field and you got the prestige of being first to max an elite skill in the rush of everyone competing for the same prize if RS does all skills at once could you imagine the race that will take place over all the skills to get that first spot

Yes people will quite and cry "my pixel is worth nothing now" but how many old players will come back with new incentive to play lets face it trolls that don't want the game to move forward is expendable they are no fun anyhow . While bringing old players back into the fold the reunions,old friends and enemy's that's just golden so once again i say BRING IT!!!!

I suppose this is why they're bringing in the new Elite skills. This way, no matter how much additional experience you have over what it took to earn 99 in the existing skills, you still have to start from the beginning in training the new Elite skill.

That people who will immediately go from 99 Attack to 120 Attack on the day of a change will benefit somewhat less than might be expected from that is not unreasonable, but I don't think it's necessary for game balance that they benefit not at all.

i only support making skills 120 if its gona be just as hard as getting any curruent skill to 120 atm. For example : any meele xp rates at the top level with top gear u can make about 450-650k xp/h. Well that seems alot... but if u do the math , to get to the level 120 (104m xp) that would require arround 190 hours of game play... THATS ALOT.. i mean if u play 10 hours a day wich is ... ALOT it'll take 19 days ... (even if u play 10 hours u have to count the time u restock for xp, etc etc wich takes 1 hr i'd say)...

ANYWAY ... if they make a new skill that goes to lvl 120 i wish this skill to be challenging , its pointless to create a level 120 skill if the xp rates will be 5m/h .. its going to make the skill as easy as any skill that goes to 99... (actually there are skills like fishing for example that the xp rates are low BECAUSE the skill goes to 99 only , so 99 fishing is still a pain to get... its a challenge.. lvl 120 its a huge deal ... but from what i've seen from the waterfall that is coming soon, fishing will be ridiculous , because thats what players want.)

actually old skills such as mining, crafting , smithing could go to 120 to add new stuff to the game.. new tier armors etc... or herbblore for new pots..

making combat skills over 120 will destroy current pvm.

I've seen it suggested many times, the only real way we can have 120 skills without debalancing everything is if the skill only goes to 120 in the Eastern Lands.

This can make a continent that has very prestigious training for very high levels, make unique items and add much much harder bosses and npc*, without affecting much of the main game we know.

EDIT: Eastern Lands would be a huge project though, also adding content in for 100-120 is equally a huge task. I would expect an update like that would be in batches over a large period of time.
