Trying to get my head around this as a current premier member.

Does that mean as a paying member, but not a premier member, the player will receive no cosmetics from yak track at all?

What if you are have a maxed membership account but not a premier member... does this mean there is no value to completing Yak for that portion of the player base?

Does this deprecate the value of Yak track for iron accounts?

(1)We can always buy bonds with in game gp to access the Premier Tier of Yak Tracks.

(2)There is also nowhere Jagex mentioned anything Yack Track items will be exclusive to Yack Tracks or Yak Coins.

(1)-Were does the person who you quoted talk about Bonds at all? Why did you inject that into the conversation when the post was about the value of the Yak track to non premier members or those who do not buy premier pass? not everyone can afford to get two bonds each time.

(2)-I am pretty sure the Yak store will be the go to place for all things Yak track going forward. They may not have spelled out the words " exclusive" but I am pretty sure it will be.

I get it though. Everything that Jagex does according to you is perfect and has an answer to everything. Though this yak track is by far the worse one of the 13 that we have gotten so far.

(1) He definitely talked about member. I am a member too and I got my membership from bonds. Don't tell us members paying with bonds aren't members and we don't get values from benefits.

(2) Neither you or I represent Jagex. All I can say is nowhere did Jagex mentioned anything about Yak Track rewards being exclusive, and we can all see they have been very different the last few Yak Tracks.

The yak coin is better than the awful yak sack which relied on rng to get anything nice. However I doubt I will get enough coins for all 3 new cosmetics. The only people able to get lots of coins will either play all the time or, more likely, buy skips with bonds. Bring back the yak tracks where simply completing the tasks ( specific skill or skill and kill ) earned the rewards!

If the Yak Coins/Yak Shop mechanics stays the way it is in this Yak Track (note: this is what I think it will be, not any words from Jagex), then we can definitely get all cosmetics at our own pace. There is no need to get all 3 new cosmetics in this Yak Track. We may get 1 this time and the other 2 in the future Yak Tracks.

While that is true the next track will also have new cosmetic rewards. It will become impossible to get them all. Until the previous track I had unlocked every reward. Like many other people I didn't get a single nice item from the yak sacks. ...or as I think of them, the yuk sacks.

First, it will never be impossible to get them all as long as they keep giving us one Yak Coin per task after Tier 50.

Besides, why do everybody expect to get everything in one track without spending fair amount of time playing the game? They keep adding cosmetics to SGS. Literally there is no way for us to earn everything there, so? We should also observer from the Rare Item Shop synergy when new cosmetics are no longer new, they will become much cheaper to get. The new cosmetic selling for 15 Yak Coins now may very well be going for 10 and then 5, 3 or 2 coins a couple of years later. We can look at some of the older cosmetics selling for 2 or 3 Yak Coins now to take a clue.

Don't forget new and returning players. They will never have a chance to get all the cosmetics in the past if all they can do is to play for new cosmetics every track.

This yak track is so disappointing, but not totally unexpected. We loyal members who have paid our member fees for 15+ years are in the same category as FTP. We get the same rewards as a new FTP player. The only cosmetic we get on our track is an Ice Cube pet - woohoo! I understand that Jagex wants to make money but it is a slap in the face for those of us that have played this game for years. We are considered substandard players I guess now. For the first time I will be only doing the Skill/Kill tasks, should be able to do 24 of them for the Ice Cube pet. The rest of the rewards are as lame as TH these days.

How is this Yak Track different than the others to 15+ year members?

Long ago, Jagex has implemented tiered membership so 15+ years members still don't get all the member benefits if they don't pay more. They also added other game content which requires additional membership payment even for existing members too, for instance FSW, Ironman/Group Ironman. Mods Markos and Kieran have an direct explanation on the extra payments from a OSRS FSW Q&A Livestream. Sorry! They blamed the escalating operation cost and said when they have to spend extra efforts to develop premium content for us, they needed to charge us extra for the extra rewards we are getting.

On the positive side, 15+ year members should have higher gp earning ability than new free players. This translates to easy way to get gp to buy bonds and therefore membership and premium membership. Don't forget we have Loyalty Points new free members don't.

Premier membership is not the same as "membership". You know as well as I do that is exactly what that person was talking about. They are clearly asking if you get any cosmetics using just normal membership from the yak track. You don't get any cosmetics from the yak track unless you have premier membership or buy the premier yak track.

I didn't say Premer membership is the same as "normal" membership, but the person I replied to didn't say about "normal" membership either. There is no such thing as "normal" membership. Membership is just membership, regardless we get it from Premier Club, paying real money, free from buying bonds with gp, or getting gifted by our mains or other players. We can still use our membership to get bonds and buy Premier Tier Yak Track regardless.

You are once again ignoring everything else and focusing on one thing. If you look at what was colored in for you, you will see that you are totally wrong about what the person was asking.
There is an difference between membership and premier membership ( one has perks and one does not). Still want to go down this road?

You are once again ignoring everything I wrote subsequently on Post 4 of this page:

Players with "normal" membeship (by whatever definition you have) simply are not entitled to have everything in Jagex games, for examples Premier Club, Iron man, Group Ironman, OSRS Leagues, FSW, etc. Jagex mods like Markos and Kieran already told us the reason. So why keep going back in circle.

If you don't agree with Jagex's business reason on not letting "normal" members have access to every piece of content in RS3 and OSRS, that's fine but it won't change the way they run their businesses in their games, RS3 and OSRS, and likely their other new games too.
