That's absolutely not what the person I replied to complained about. He wrote:

Oddments Store didn't have all the Previous Yak Track Cosmetics before the update.

Already given everybody my comment regarding this on Page 1, Post 7:

"Not true at all. Yak Coins come easily just by doing Yak Tracks for free, especially every task after the 50th guarantees us one. Essentially we can get hundreds of free Yak Coins and far more than buy out all new cosmetic every Yak Track.

There is a big advantage for players who want to play to earn the cosmetics instead of paying for Oddments.:


Some players may not like this update if they are saving up Oddments to buy OLD cosmetics (read: not Yak Track specific ones), but they can still earn Yak Coins pretty easily, regularly and consistently for 2 months every Yak Track.

Some players, like the person, who want to get previously unobtainable Yak Track cosmetics because they did do them, should be very happy now they can get Yak Track cosmetics including old and discontinued ones consistently now and in the future.

Far more of the over 320 mil registered players should be benefited for discontinued/hard to get items being obtainable in a consistent and regular basis, and the FSW players as well as new players in the future should ALL be benefited in such an update. Therefore, this update is far beneficial to the GENERL PUBLIC.

You have to pay for bonds to get coins from yak trak this is about 140m and bond prices are skyrocketing and have been going up millions of coins consistently for months.

They aren't "free" this is a blatant lie by you.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

You can't get yak coins without PAYING for the premier.

Cosmetics that you can buy with Yak coins were previously available for purchase with oddments, I could purchase those cosmetics with my oddments without buying a bond, without having premier.
Now in order to get those cosmetics with yak coins I have to pay for premier.

This is obviously bullshit.

I agree this yak track is very sad with most of it's rewards in general. There really isn't anything appealing to me to buy bonds for premier except the xp boost.

Regarding the oddment store that's just a flop on jagex's side in general with little to no thinking of future repercussions. They constantly have TH events that give alot of oddments and saw that people saving them for 60 keys for good promos wasn't good, but like i said jagex never put thought into it. Removing half of the teles/cosmetics/key limit and other stuff IMO is going in the wrong direction and is showing their players they care for money more.

Now i'm not saying jagex shouldn't be trying to make money for their studio and employees. However with the amount of people they had on FSW who most likely already had a member account paid for, they should've seen a nice gain in income but still push buying bonds onto players. Its honestly gotten to a point where they refuse to answer legitimate and continuous issues with their client but will throw everything they can at selling bonds. Sad direction this company has gone in the past 10 years and their player base shows it.

Lastly, IDK why the fuck y'all are arguing with dilbert *jagex's unacknowledged and unwanted shield* but if you haven't noticed by now this guy has a massive hard on for jagex. According to him jagex does nothing wrong and everything they do is A-ok and fails to admit when he's wrong. I mean he has 24k post on forums which would lead you to believe he does nothing but sit on forums to prove jagex is always right. Better off just ignoring the child.

I already clarified what I meant was we need to pay a small fee of one-off Gold Premier Club or 2 bonds to access the Yak Coins Shop, as well as evident even from the RS Wiki Yak Track cosmetics were DISCONTINUED, obviously DISCONTINUED items couldn't be obtained with Oddments. Why keep going in circle and calling me name in every post? If you want to call me name, please call out RS Wiki first:

This thread is clearly about Yak track as the title indicates and not ALL the cosmetics that were available via oddments store.

Trying to get my head around this as a current premier member.

Does that mean as a paying member, but not a premier member, the player will receive no cosmetics from yak track at all?

What if you are have a maxed membership account but not a premier member... does this mean there is no value to completing Yak for that portion of the player base?
