I hate the new Yak Coin system! I was patiently saving up my hard-earned oddments, and looking forward to using them during the new shop change. But now, all of the cosmetic overrides from past Yak Track events have all been taken down and moved to a new section of the store you can only pay for with Yak Coins. You can only get them from certain Premiere Yak Track challenges, and there are only a few, and if you don't spend them during event, they get deleted after it ends. All of my Oddments are practically useless now! I'd buy the coins with Oddments if I could, but I can't!

you are factually incorrect. You cannot get Yak coins for free

This yak track event is the worse one yet. I fear worse ones are still to come. For the most part I just skill/kill. The "free" rewards are just to sad. It's not about jagex making money-it's about jagex going in the direction of P2W

How is this one the "worse" when the last few Yak Tracks also had the skill and kill option?

I can see some free players may like some free cosmetics while the others perhaps Oddments rewards they are getting in this Yak Track so they have the choice to buy cosmetics from the Oddments Store rather, but members like you should be happy we are actually getting more free cosmetics as well as oddments in this Yak Track.

Oddments are becoming more and more useless as time goes on - they can't buy as many keys in a day, they have fewer options for cosmetics of all kind, all the cosmetics in the yak track are now restricted behind Yak Coin unlocks which you have to pay 2 bonds (140m+) or have Premier Club to access. Actually Oddments have been becoming more useful when they put TH cosmetics there for at low as 100 Oddments. They also added 2 Legendary Pets to the Oddments Store. Previously Legendary Pets were SGS RuneCoin only items.

Free for Gold Premier Club members for only like $7 a month. A huge bargain actually.

You don't have to buy anything to spend your oddments but you will have to buy something to EARN oddments before you can spend them normally, and fortunately for this Yak Track, nobody need to buy anything and can still earn oddments to spend.

Trust me, all the logic in the world would not matter to someone who is deadpan on making sure they are " right". Regardless if you actually have an point or not.

This yak track is different from the last 12 of them and I suspect that this will be the new method going forward. Got to milk the remaining players as much as they can by any means that they can. A Lion is just a big cat... with bigger teeth

Once Jagex realized that they can manipulate the bond market (By making sure they stay high due to the increase in things needing bonds) they made sure the Yak track followed suit and this track shows it.

Its sad and even sadder when people are blinding believing that this is actually good. A Lion is just a big cat... with bigger teeth
