This yak track event is the worse one yet. I fear worse ones are still to come. For the most part I just skill/kill. The "free" rewards are just to sad. It's not about jagex making money-it's about jagex going in the direction of P2W
Once Jagex realized that they can manipulate the bond market (By making sure they stay high due to the increase in things needing bonds) they made sure the Yak track followed suit and this track shows it.
Its sad and even sadder when people are blinding believing that this is actually good.
Bond dropped almost 10% in less than a week, after spiking up briefly with the new Premier Club offer. I don't see where you see it "stay high".
The Oddments Store has become an increasingly important part of the Treasure Hunter experience, with the ability to turn unwanted prizes into a flexible currency that you can spend on past Yak Track cosmetics, or consumables like Lamps or Stars.
They explicitly state that oddments are intended to be flexible currency. They affirm that notion by specific mention of their use to purchase Yak Track cosmetics. The introduction of Yak coins undermines their intent from merely eight months ago.

Oddments vs Yak Coins or other event currencies is like Thalers vs minigame currencies.
There is always good to have a general currency like gp for everything in the game, but different content will have their own specific currencies. It is extremely easy to see why we shouldn't have Castle Wars Tickets, Soul Wars Zeal and such just because we introduced Thalers and Oddments for general purposes.

You are actually just 100% factually wrong about bonds, once again you are lying for no reason other than to praise Runescape and praise jagex.
if you go to the grand exchange here on the site and look up bonds, you can do down and press "trend" to get an estimate at where bond prices are at and where they are headed.
Whether you click 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months the trend is the same, a price increase at all times.
In case you're not intelligent to understand trends or increases I'll lay it out for you:
Today's change:
+2% (2 mil)
1 Month change:
+13% (8.8 mil)
3 Months change:
+14% (9.4 mil)
6 Months change:
+27% (15.7 mil)
Bonds were 65m last month and they went up 8m...
Why do you intentionally lie about things which can be easily disproven?

Why don't you compare bond prices to what they were 10 years ago when membership was $10 or less a month? OSRS Bond price is reacting the same pattern as RS3 Bond since the release of the Premier Club. Don't tell us OSRS Bond price has anything to do with Yak Track.

I hate the new Yak Coin system! I was patiently saving up my hard-earned oddments, and looking forward to using them during the new shop change. But now, all of the cosmetic overrides from past Yak Track events have all been taken down and moved to a new section of the store you can only pay for with Yak Coins. You can only get them from certain Premiere Yak Track challenges, and there are only a few, and if you don't spend them during event, they get deleted after it ends. All of my Oddments are practically useless now! I'd buy the coins with Oddments if I could, but I can't!
Past Yak Track cosmetics were never obtainable with Oddments or other things. There used to be no shop to get obtain them. With this new Yak Coin Shop, we can get them at our discretion apparently in every Yak Track going forward.

Did I completely break your brain? because you're not even responding to what I said, you're talking about some irrelevant nonsense.
literally I never said anything about OSRS, so what in the fuck are you going on about?
