Hello, this is an idea that I wanted to put here for awhile, for the benefit of clans and clan leaders all around, I have been involved in game with a group of people dedicated to keeping scammers, lurers, hackers, and toxic people in general out of clans. we have a list and have been looking for a place to post it.

- PLEASE do not harass any of these people, no need for more drama.

- this list is also for the benefit of mods, as all of these people are proven scammers, others can verify the legitimacy of these names and of my word, please contact ' I Manta ' ' Luke At Me' 'No Rice Fo u' 'XDakota' 'J a m e s s' 'II Alex II' 'Long Hair 7' 'Duhs' 'Rezoziel' 'Phatboo' if you have any questions about the legitimacy of the list or of my word.

- PLEASE do not add anything to this list, if you are a clan leader and want to become part of the group, please pm me in game.

this is for the benefit of the clan leaders, idk about you but I'd rather not have a scammer sneak into my clan. im not asking anyone to punish them, all of these people have been reported. iam merely notifiying clan leaders of these people so they don't do anymore damage. I do not see the problem with that, you can go ahead and ask the people I provided, these names are all proven and true.

I think this thread has too much potential for undue naming and shaming. Even if an account actually did what you say it did, there's no guarantee it was a result of the original owner--aka, someone might have gotten hacked, recovered their account, and now continues playing under their username.

However, I think the idea of a *watch list* as opposed to a do not recruit list would be a good one--as in, a list of accounts who are noticed right before "imposter" accounts start messaging people for loans, other scammers, or accounts who seem to be disrupting clans without any personal reasons.

Aka, a shared list of clan disrupters to be mindful of, which is a little more specific than a list of people who have done bad things. (and Jagex can deal with rule breakers, also)

i dont see why this be a shame, this is something i wanted to do as well, these people who, lie, scam, cheat, steal, from other people make those other players who dont want to join rs again, after something has happened to them.

so its about time, we shame these people for what they are doing to others.

also quick note, i dont see why this is shaming them when this is clearly on the clf forums so this post is for those who are mods, clan leaders and a 2nd player that they wish to see and post stuff. so the scammers, lurers, cheaters etc dont see it but us only

This topic gets brought up a lot of times.

No support - open to mass abuse, regardless of whether all of the names are legitimate. Being 'toxic' is completely subjective as well.

People will distort the view of others according to subjective opinion and personal perspectives, issues, drama etc. Everyone deserves a clean slate moving from a clan and going on to another, without the past (clans/members) haunting them.

If they're a scammer, toxic etc, that's up to their new clan to find out and judge.

What's to verify or stop me from adding, for example, 'E L E' on the list and saying he's a toxic player/scammer, because I had an issue with him in the past, or was bitter he left my clan, and I'm just doing it out of spite because I don't want him to be able to get into future clans? You can see how it's open to great abuse.

I'm all against toxic players, scammers and so on, but unfortunately the potential harm and manipulation that can be caused massively outweighs the benefit that can be derived from it.

Giving names here doesn't allow those people to defend themselves, and even if what you are saying is true, it is against the rules to name and shame.
