It is deeply uncool to create a thread that makes claims about players who can neither see those claims nor defend themselves, and to which anyone could add any name from pure spite.

In addition, you have no idea whether the accounts named were under their owners' control at the time of the alleged offences. Nor does such naming & shaming allow players a chance to redeem themselves and reform, leaving their past behind them.

These are the reasons that naming and shaming of this kind is not allowed anywhere on the forums.

Like said couple of times now naming and shaming is not allowed. However I sometimes tell the clan leaders the reason someone is banned/kicked from our clan if I see they in another.

You are not allowed to name and shame on the forums - whether you believe your opinion of these people is justified or not, any complaints about them need to go through the appropriate reporting channels.

Also, briefly in reference to this supposed RS Crime Tracker Twitter. That's just one person posting stuff that none of us can verify, that doesn't make it an official source of information. None of us even know who is maintaining and posting from that account or if they are trustworthy or have conflicts of interest, etc.

A Twitter account is just someone's personal way to disseminate information and honestly can't be viewed as a valid resource in regards to accusations. It doesn't even provide evidence (screenshots, videos, etc) and thus basically no more useful than one person's opinion.

I think as clan leaders we need to be careful about what sources of information we rely on, especially when related to disciplinary matters.
