I want to go on the record and be clear that I do not support making avatar benefits directly related to capping the citadel. This is a bad move in my opinion and would not solve our recruiting issue but most likely make it even more difficult.

Sorry did someone suggest that? I missed that.. but actually my clan loves this policy. For more than a year we've allowed anyone to host the avatar if available if they have capped at the citadel. Any time someone asks if they want the avatar, they know they can have it as long as they've capped for that build tick.

I wouldn't be upset if it was implemented but I don't really care if it is. My clan already operates that way. We simply temp rank them admin. Actual admin are given organiser+ rank in my clan and regular admin can't really do much with the way our settings are. :)

Players are already scared they will have to miss out on avatar buffs for a week while they transfer. Requiring citadel work would just top that off.

I am starting to really like the white list idea. I worry not much can be done so I will support the white list idea because it will at least help us track the people who are wanting to join. This could add an extra dimension to our recruiting efforts! IF we can make it happen and the settings of use be flexible then I....

Tending to agree that a whitelist is a good idea, however this will take engine work to develop - but that doesn't mean it's not doable, just has to be justified.
