2016 And Clans

I do agree with Ranny's above post, we can't give up on it. We can see clans are integral to the community and are not getting the love they deserve. Yes 2016 is a big year with big things going on but we do have the opportunity to make change happen.
Important things to note is the new approach Jagex is taking to updates - 1 large update per month that can funnel into the other updates of that month, using the resources more effectively.
Lets try to use that to our advantage and get Jagex to do a community themed month or something similar. There could be a big focus around co-op content for that month and it could mean that Jagex would have resources available that might be usable in new clan content and improvements no matter how big or small they are.
Also (although this is a longshot) the Runelabs month where players are being tasked with designing an entire area. What if we pushed for the clan cities discussed back in the days of 2011 when citadels appeared before us and we were in awe. I remember the "what if my clan could have their POH's on streets around the citadel", "what if allied clans citadels would appear nearby or have portals that linked to them", "what if we could set up markets and build our own community/city based around the POH's and Citadels", there could be a lot of potential there.
Just some suggestions and throwing them out there, i'm sure others have better ideas, we just need to rally together if we want to see anything change.
P.S.
As a side note I do like the idea of having a much bigger, important area for clans that has more things to do and could play a more integral part to the game. Regardless of if it is a player/clan co owned city or not. You could do a ton of things with it.
If anyone wants to discuss it further with me in game please do, I love talking about crazy wacky ideas and finding inspiration for them by bouncing ideas off one another. (Jmods too if you think it might be an option!)
