My clan is Kirstunael. I've been my clan leader nearly 10 years now.

At the start I was taking care for clan homepage, clan improvements and diplomacy. Our first leader quited RS after few months and gave leadership to me.

I saw myself as just one of founders and thought leader title is temporary, I was hoping someone else is coming to shine and work as one. It was friendly small clan, it didn't need a ruler but needed someone who cares.

Soon I made Kirstunael international clan and we all had to switch to English, but I was barely speaking it myself back then. I just had to learn from practice. It was partly unpopular decision. Yet people agreed because of awesome recruits.

My husband Grandoldman who also is one of founders said something that became clan motto: First look at IQ levels.

Soon some clannys said to me, you're the Queen, shine as one and don't be shy, no need to hold back, you can do even more than you ever imagined. Thanks to their support, deep respect and dedication I felt great and wanted to make my clan great.

As they treated me very well I wanted to give it all back and cared for quality every possible way, quality recruits, clan culture and no mandatory events. This three things we kept this way for all next years. People should believe in our clan and support because of honour instead of being forced to. Also we decided to evolve as the game is doing but always keep our culture. Decided to respect RS rules and watch it ourselves.

Yet I didn't believe in democracy. We got some democracy in the clan where it works well but leadership is not asking advice for every small thing and not announcing every step we do. Sometimes I had to make unpopular decisions when it was making clan greater.

A lot happened next years. I never left my clan and always loved it. I demoted myself once and got ranked back in week or so.

We got strong base, we had many awesome co leaders and still have. I respect them and love them dearly.

WOOOOOOAAAAAAH learning/practicing a language you're not familiar with is always difficult, and language acquisition I struggle a lot with, myself--even computer languages lol (so many syntax errors). Mad props to you for making that decision for your clan, and look at you now! :D You can type fluently in English :)

I've led two clans. I have about four years total leading experience.

Divine Harmony- I remember founding thia clan with Dritz, back in March of 2012. Back in the day, this clan helped me through so much in the game. I grew as the clan grew. I had no experience as a leader back then, but I learned really fast. I believe 2013 was this clan's best year. That was the year I've met some of my best and friends. In around the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, I took a long hiatus from the clan. I was pregnant and took a "maternity leave" from RS. While I was away, I was sent screenshots from a loyal clannie that a Deputy of mine was saying that I ran away and I'm not a good leader. When I had returned, this Deputy was really rude to me. I decided that I've had enough. I was the only one putting the work into the clan and I felt like I was unappreciated. I decided to leave my clan. I had left it in the hands of Dritz, I knew the clan would be good, if she was running it. She gave the clan to the Deputy and the clan is now still running. I guest in there, as I have friends that see that clan as their home. It will forever be in my heart.

Ethereal Shadows- I had just returned to the game a littlw over a month ago. I have a lot more time to play now. Like any returning player, I went through my friends list, seeing if I remembered anyone and if my old friends still played. A really good friend of mine returned a little bit before I have mesaged me and we started catching up again. We talked about clan exepriences and he asked if I wanted to start up a clan with him. Being the leader of this clan wasn't my intention, but it happened. This is a really good clan so far and I'm proud of it. It's nice that I'm not doing all of the work for once. I fell complete, to be on a clan where there's a community forming within it. To be part of this growth is so amazing. Words cannot describe how happy I am. I do hope to find an events organiser soon. :)

Lake of Rune... Since April 12th 2011. (Or the 11th) whichever day clan camp came out.

I meant for my clan to be me, my real life husband, and my 4 kids. But sitting in clan camp that day trying to figure out my colors, this guy named Zanthy1 came over to me he was about lvl 78. He said, please let me join your clan. No one will let me because of my skill levels.

So my clan became a clan of almost 300. So I suppose, my 4 kids became about 298 children. Wow so many. My friends joined, they brought their friends. Most of my clan mates have been here for the long haul. The building of our citadel. The ups and few downs. The struggles and the fun.

These people at Lake of rune... (lake from my name.. Hubby name Runewalker). So it was a mix of our names. These People are really a family. And I realize this is a game. I do not know most of these people in everyday real life. But they are still a huge part of my life.

I love them all. I may be the leader, but it takes every one of us to make this clan.

I am thankful to all of them, and especially Zanthy1. If not for him asking, I would never have considered becoming a leader of so many.

So to my husband, my kids and my clan,

All my love,

Ladyolake

I am Owner of : CrownSlayers (formerly Crownchat)

I have been the owner 3 1/2 years, The clan is 6 1/2 years old.

I love this clan and like most if not all of you here, consider it to be family.
I am very proud of the fact we made a fully Built T 7 citadel with an avg of under 30 people.
The dedication, friendship and love between everyone has made me very proud to say this is my clan, my friends, my family.

Founder of Night Slayers
Clan
here, since 27 August 2007. Clan is becoming 9 years old this month. Means I'm getting old :D … Been leader the first few years and the last ones but I did quit RuneScape for a while in between and had to rejoin my own clan starting as lowest possible rank and work my way up again to become clan leader and owner.

It's a strange experience joining your own clan with some people at the top who you don't even know because of being away for a while.

Founder and owner of Athalvard .

Clan founded on 2nd June 2011. Have been leading for 4 of those 5 years taking a brief hiatus in 2014 leaving care of the clan in the capable hands of my deputies :)

As others have said in the thread, my clan is like family to me. Some great people who I've met through the clan are now dear friends. Being a part of this clan is the main reason I still play and enjoy content on Runescape. Hope to see more love for clan updates next year!

Hi' I am Tarzana as you may see I have been clan leader of bloodstones since July 22nd of 2013 . I am a former member of sofaking's old clan the true empire which I was in for a short time moving on to help a friend . I latter decided to make my own clan as I wanted to place to call home I never really felt at home with other clan's . I looked for one main dep who would have the leadership quality's I wanted to help me . together I and him choose the name Bloodstones Blood being my anger towards former leader's and stone's being my deps fav thing . later on for me blood gained a new meaning . setting in stone the clan being like family and being a community . while thing's have had ups and downs and sometimes things take turns for the worst . I know I am not ready to give up on clan or let them down . soon I will be building my clan more but keeping number's small as I find large clan's people tend to get forgotten and less relationships are formed . I have been in 2 other clan the true empire which faced a hurtle when a rogue leader kicked almost all the member's . I then found my self in fury an but left when the leader took all the credit . for me clan isn't just mine its the people who are in it . without them I wouldn't be a leader
