Of course a fairer (and certainly more well thought) system would be the following:

Regular comp

- Completing all (mini)quests and tasks
- Reach maximum level
- Unlock all music tracks (this will ensure you've at least seen everything)
- Unlock every spell, prayer, passive effect and ability - I think exceptions would be okay for the Nex curses and reprisal due to their extreme rarity (see how MQC doesn't require the dungeoneering journals 16-20 for the same reason, despite fitting the guidelines), but otherwise everything that is improving/extending your options should be part of this cape
- 60 % of the possible achievement points (see next tuesday)

Trimmed comp

- Regular comp
- Unlock every permanent, cosmetic reward ingame (no pure MTX stuff and outside promotions (wikian/gamebreaker/...) of course), the exception would be extremely difficult, rare or time consuming (like profound) stuff
- Unlock the remainings spells/prayers/abilities/passive effects
- 85 % of the possible achievement points

True trimmed comp

- Complete everything that can be completed ingame

My issue is the current requirements are somewhat random (and this even was admited in the high level forums, when the (potential) guidelines for both comp and trimmed were posted), but it of course again won't ever be changed because some players could lose their face - I think it is simply unforgiveable not to fix outdated design flaws because of this. MQC just feels cleaner, because it was designed after guidelines - and didn't got bumped on random requirements
Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

That definitely sounds like a better idea. Current requirements would have to be shuffled a lot, some might be removed, and new ones might be added (e.g. obtained all skill outfits, BA insignia(s), royal crossbow, etc.). I imagine some players might not like that but hey it's for the health of the game. Bizarre Boron Fusswell, scryer extraordinaire. OSRS: POH ideas & RS3 minigames & achievement ideas !

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

Original message details are unavailable.
New suggestion:
Make Hunter's Skillcape Effect Passive instead of active.

Hm, the wiki fails to specify what the effect is exactly. Does it last indefinitely? Because in that case, yeah that makes sense.

I've gone ahead and added the Smithing perk though, because it really is useless at level 99.

Keys on Key Ring ......

#1 - If possible, use a mechanic for any key to remove the need to ever use it again.
#2 - focus first on Melzar's Maze Key (aka: Maze Key from Dragon Slayer) and Brass Key (Edgeville Dungeon Key that accesses Hill Giants).

The Maze Key and Brass Key are old mechanics.
We've already had the Weapon Storeroom Key (Shield of Arrav) removed.
By updating these 2 keys first , if devs ever got around to the "put key ring on toolbelt" suggestions, then they remove the QA scenario of having to use the Key Ring on F2P worlds.

(I'm hoping this makes sense)
