Then, something odd happened: the abomination’s body shifted rapidly while appearing distorted, then flashed brightly of purple and disappeared, and reappeared a few feet forwards. She performed a series of short teleportations, hissing with every exhale. By such rapid teleportations, the monster was able to slip away from X7A’s power, at least for the immediate moment, and gradually vibrate towards her.

Morinth’s head turned back at forth from X7A to the monster, then Morinth darted off to the side. Quickly extending her arm and casting a Biotic Reave to shred the damn thing’s exterior, though the monster did not react. Morinth then withdrew her assault rifle and opening fire at the monster, but a dozen rounds seemed to do nothing. She stopped, and paused.

“Damn, that bitch is tough.” Morinth remarked, and continued firing.

Meanwhile, the green aura at the sphere amplified, accompanied by static and mechanical noises that emanated from within. The lighting inside the chamber then died, with only Biotics and the green aura providing light. It seemed that the Asari AI was in the instance of performing its powers. They would have to defeat the creature quick.

Annie felt shock that the lights just shut off after it flickered for a while. She felt so scared what’s happening. Then she saw a The female Systems Alliance marine have a flash light from her omni-tool. She heard her talking into her radio and then just left them in the darkness. She was so scared that made her body shake with fear. She asked in a scared, weak voice,”What do you think is going on?” -Dances-

While her shot was entirely effective, it was not enough. The torso seemed to contain very little that kept the abomination going, at least if the shot that had ripped through it was any indication. Such a result was to be expected, and the main reason for it had been accomplished; X7A knew that this thing could be injured by something simple such as her enhanced bullets. It seemed to feel pain and anger, as well, telling her that it was not simply a mindless drone of some sort. Emotions such as those meant it had the ability to think, at least to some degree, and even if it was acting on instinct there was something driving that instinct.

The screech that echoed through the area paused X7A for a brief moment until her audio compensators kicked in and did what they were supposed to: compensated for the increase in volume and set the input at a harmless level. Whether such a screech was supposed to be used as a weapon didn’t seem to be clear, but knowing that a sonic assault such as this was a possible thing to look for in the future was a useful piece of information to have. Although the compensators were fully automated and needed no alterations, the simple act of this happening let them be able to activate quicker should the sign that something like this was happening again come to pass.

At the sign that her field was no longer producing results, X7A terminated it. There was no reason to keep something that could be brought back easily around as a drain on resources. The rapid biotic jumps seemed to be unstable in a way, since while they allowed for movement they seemed to be an imperfect form of the biotic charges that those who utilized those abilities could do. They seemed to produce no field when discharged, and therefore were much less dangerous. All they seemed to do was allow more rapid movement for a creature that moved slowly, which, while a problem when it came to keeping that creature in place, was not the largest threat something could pose.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

At the current juncture, X7A did two things. The first was that she aimed again, as best she could, and fired at the head of the creature with a similar shot to what she had done last time. Using careful timing, X7A fired so that the shot would connect when the creature came out of one of the jumps that it was performing. The second was that she increased the gravitational pull on the floor around where the sphere was situated in an attempt to get it to crumple into the ground and stop whatever it was doing. While the second action seemed unlikely to work, it was something from which nothing was lost in the attempt. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Ryder:

His arms gruffly crossed, the shutting down of the lights didn’t seem to faze this trooper. Remaining utterly motionless as the blue bitch struggled against the abomination, he didn’t see any reason to butt into the fight; after all, it wasn’t as though the creature had attacked him. For now, he was content to observe the reaction of the sexbot’s biotic field on the sphere’s shutter.

London: Spotlight!

Though very few people had eaten enough carrots to notice in the dark room, London’s eyes widened at the exciting turn of events.

Annie, Annie, Annie! ” London cooed, “ Read the atmosphere! A dark room with lots of strangers? No campfire to tell scary stories? What else could it be?! Could it be the national sport that united a nation boy scouts everywhere?

SPOTLIGHT! ” she yelped, hurling herself into the air. Her chair fell to the floor nosily, her arm falling to clasp Annie’s hand. If successful, she would try to pull Annie to her feet. Regardless of her success, she would say in an undertone, “ And you know what that means, right? We gotta hide! Come on! Let’s go explore!

Annie and London

Annie asked what ever could be going on, and London surely gave the right reply with a mighty jump. Grabbing Annie’s hand, London pulled her to her feet, and suggested hide and sneak and exploration. Area 51 was quite a big, mysterious place, so there was lots of hiding places. Oddly enough, the various lightning began faintly glowing green.

“I wish my Ipad still worked.” the Turian janitor mumbled.

The various escapees and workers chatted amongst themselves, and the kids slipped away.

* * *

Sometime later, Annie, London, Lucas, Lilly, and a few imaginary friends wandered the darkness. Amidst hiding, sneaking, finding and exploration, they noticed that the entire base seemed abandoned. They did not stumble upon any soldiers or personnel. However, after regrouping, they ended up at a section of hallway with large windows overlooking a hangar of some sort.

Suddenly, from the other side of the window, something jumped against the glass, splatting onto it and making a constant whirring-clicking sound. It seemed to be some sort of... cyber-frog? It was visible due to having a flashlight-like face, which beamed upon Annie. It was a Geth Hopper, the same one that Annie had seen back in the facility. It must have crept into the train and sneaked out sometime ago. It continued staring at Annie, its face illuminating her face, but it did nothing.

Deeper in the hangar, various blueish lights appeared. By the looks of it, a few Geth Troopers had also waltzed into the train unnoticed, and left after the base’s soldiery exited. The Geth walked around, and seemed to be examining their surroundings.

Then, the Geth Hopper looked diagonally to the side, beaming light further down the hallway the kids were at. This illuminated something, which stood up, and its face glowed blue. It then casually walked towards the kids, feet making clicking sounds. The thing looked like:

Whatever this Geth was, it looked damaged, but was clearly unthreatening. It stopped before the kids, staring at them motionlessly, eyepieces turning. What ever could this mean?

Chamber

Exactly as Morinth said, the creature was quite tough. As usual, X7A assessed the creature’s capabilities. After it made its semi-debilitating screech, her audio systems reconfigured accordingly. Additionally, a series of mini Biotic jumps clearly suggested the creature was capable of Biotics, and X7A scanned the pattern for her next shot. She also formed another gravitational pull, this time for the cracked sphere.

Just as the monster appeared, X7A fired. Being quite the Gunslinger, she shot the damn thing through the head, and it knelt down rather sideways. The creature reared her head back and screeched again, purplish liquid oozing out her forehead and down her face. Picking herself up, she walked towards X7A, whipping a few lashes of Biotic attacks at her, but there was a wobble in the monster's gait.

Morinth emptied her thermal clip at the damn monster’s body, but the monster's exterior was quite tough. The Asari then cast a few Biotic masses to pummel the creature, but it clearly wasn’t stopping. The creature eyed X7A sternly, breathing slowly and heavily. The beast snorted, then hissed through clenched teeth.

“Fffhhhnnn-wurrraaahhhhrrrrurrr!” the creature hissed, then sharply inhaled, briefly holding her bleeding head. “Woohurrarrr aaahhheyyy! Hoowaahhh-rrr yeeahhh pullll it uhhhp!”

Meanwhile, X7A’s gravitational pull underneath the cracked sphere caused it to lower a foot or so, the systems collapsing into itself. Sparks and zaps burst out, but the green aura remained, however it immediately dimmed. A grinding sound echoed out the green aura, as if complaining.

“That did something!” Morinth exclaimed, casting another Biotic Reave upon the beast to shred her, the Reave seeping into the bullet holes and causing further harm.

Suddenly, something odd happened. An “arm” of green extended from the green aura. Morinth reloaded her AR and fired a dozen rounds into the monster’s legs, the creature’s right knee buckling. Morinth was about to perform a Biotic Charge, but then the faintly glowing green arm suddenly rammed into her, as if her Biotics were a magnet to whatever this force was. It struck her seemingly without any physical force, yet Morinth staggered. Morinth’s veins and eyes glowed green, and her bodily movements became twitchy as she regained herself. Her jaw hung, her head loosely tilted, and Morinth seemed and the arm from the aura clearly had a grip on her.

Several more green arms appeared, erupting in random directions. Unsurprisingly, the monster was not targeted, but a few arms reared and altered their courses, waving towards the entrance of the room.

Annie went hiding, seeking, and exploring with London and the others. She felt very scared but curious about this place. She was having a blast being with her class mates on an Adventure then being locked up in a cell.

Then she heard something jumped against the glass, splatting onto it and making a constant whirring-clicking sound from the other side of the room. She looked around and saw the strange creature had a flashlight face and that beamed upon her face. She realized it was the same creature who came to her window when she was locked up in that cell and broke the window to free her.

Then she saw the creature beamed it's light down the hallway where they were. Then the creature came toward them in a non- threaten way. It stared at them. She wasn't was scared of it but curious about it. She said to the group in a calm voice," This is the creature who saved me from that cell. I don't think it will hurt us." She walked slowly towards the creature and said in a calm voice,"Hello again. It's good to see you. I know your remember me and I remember you. I am not going to hurt you. Thank you for saving me out of that cell. Show me what you want."

London
London, not London London.

London wandered through the hallways, practically tripping over her own feet as she stumbled blindly through the dark maze. But London didn’t fear the dark; she was old enough to look after herself. And grownups didn’t cry for longer than 15 seconds after hitting their head against a darkened window!

YEOWCH! ” London exclaimed, rebounding off the window. A tear welling up in her eye, she caught a bright light in the corner of her eye. Turning from the lightbulbs to Annie, it was apparent that Annie was caught up in this whole conspiracy. As the gears inside London’s head churned, long gone were the pangs of pain emanating from London’s dripping nose.

From behind Annie, London quivered slightly. London had heard the spooky stories of area 51, and was evidentially worried about something, and was unable to keep her silence “ Dear humble and mysterious aliens of Area 51. London agrees with Annie, London comes in peace! Not London London, though I’m sure they nice too, but keeping on topic, London, this London right here mind you, humbly asks you, please do not probe us, since that information is free on the extranet. Please, thank you !”

Ryder:
Still waiting.

Ryder remained as still as a stone told to wait. Evidentially, without the use of biotics, he did not seem to be a target – and for as long as the arms didn’t come for him, they were free to do as they pleased. After all, he was above mercy killing such petty alien abominations.
