As she intended, X7A reached the next elevator, but took to the stairs. Along the way, she encountered some groups of personal here and there, most either transporting wares or nervously talking about some sort of problem up in the android-manufacturing facility. She overheard some unimportant things, such as mention of lack of active security and generic chitchat of what could be happening.

X7A descended the stairs. The stairway was quite deep, going down, down down, into darkness. The bolts were not always done right, the metal stairs sometimes shaking as X7A descended, but fortunately not breaking from the wall.

“Michael here. Well done on rearranging their communications. This should make your mission much more convenient. I am tracking the network as best I can, but it remains an unknown. I am also scanning the emails you copied and sent, they will undoubtedly prove as useful evidences in court, should the need arise.” Michael’s voice sounded.

“As for this global AI, it is quite a find. So far, there is no legal documentation of its existence, but if it does exist, it cannot be from a governmental program. We don’t know what we are dealing with, and it can be anything from a foreign military program to a terrorist project. Whatever you do, when you find this facility’s mainframe, find out what this AI really is. The mainframe is heavily encrypted and firewalled. I don’t know how, but it is capable of withstanding even military grade hacking, I can’t get into to it. You will have to manually access it. Michael out.”

Once X7A reached the bottom floor, scanners detected much more activity. ADVsoldiers patrolled the bottom floor, and personnel transported a lot of various mechanical and computerized parts.

By the looks of it, the guards were negligent in their duties. The guards patrolled the area in groups of a few soldiers, and they walked casually, sometimes chatting or arguing with other soldiers. Since the soldiers were armed and armoured, and patrolling, this suggested they were expecting trouble.

X7A’s scanners detected that the personnel were loading a lot of things into, apparently, underground trains at the opposite end of the facility depths. It seemed that this facility connected to a subterranean network of railways, similarly to what would be found in mines.

Examining the Nav Points, it seemed impossible to just walk towards the mainframe without being detected at least visually. However, at the same time, the guards did not seem to care about anything, and the personnel were minding their own business. Then, X7A’s scanners picked up an unusual reading: a group of... Quarians?

Yes, there was a group of Quarians at the opposite end of the facility, and seemed to be involved with the transportation of the wares. However, why exactly the Quarians were here, was still unknown, though it was also irrelevant anyways. If she wanted, scanners could focus on the Quarians to connect to their radio and see what they were talking about.

X7A’s analyses concluded that:
If she chose to walk towards the mainframe, it was inevitable she would probably cross paths with a group of patrolling ADVs, sooner or later.

There was a 30% chance she would cross paths with patrolling guards every minute or so, but even if she managed to avoid all of them, it was inevitable she would come across at least one patrol before she reached the secret passageway into the mainframe, unless something happened that would get their attention.

The hallways were rather unkempt, and every few to several feet were stacks of metal crates and containers, holding anything from weapons to bombs, narcotics to eezo. The stacks ranged from a few to several feet high, and the containers ranged from several inches to a few feet tall and wide.

Venting was present throughout the facility, with ventilation caps spaced apart every hundred feet or so.

Assuming she was unable to hide or sneak passed a patrol that spotted her, they would have a 40% chance to become suspicious and question her immediately. If this happened, there would be an 80% chance they would notice Gabriel’s card does not really apply to her, if she had it, and would suspect something amiss.

X7A is still piggybacking and connected to Communications; so long as no one re-entered Communications, she had total control over it. It was also possible to connect to all ADVs, or the Quarians, for whatever she wanted. She still had the option of uploading viruses or bugs.

The unknown network is increasing in bandwidth at an astronomical rate. Scanners detect movement inside some crates throughout the facility. Analysis concluded that there was a 60% chance that these moving objects would actually start emerging from their crates few by few at random areas.

The mainframe was guarded by ten LOKI Mechs and a YMIR Mech, all of which were active and constantly patrolling the mainframe boundaries. This suggested that the mainframe was quite a gigantic computer, large enough to have dozens of passageways to allow a YMIR Mech to walk. She may have to get a little creative to be able to get passed the mechs, but there was still time to think ahead.

Mickey

Remembering his past experiences with Drell, Mickey suggested a few brands of cigarettes to the patron. The Drell looked at him and blinked with inner and then outer eyelids, then approached the counter.

“Actually, I don’t smoke, even though it may help keep my lungs dry and prevent Kepral’s Syndrome.” the Drell replied.

“I hope you are not suspicious of me. Did you notice the slight blur in the air over in that corner?” he asked, gesturing towards a corner in the store. There, there was a blur in the air, in the shape of a person, leaning over and very, very slowly walking around.

“That appeared just as the other humans left your store. I have a feeling a sneaky Quarian Infiltrator is looking for things to take. You know how they are. ...As for me, I am trying to stay out of sight, for reasons you are better off not knowing. I feel a little ashamed to ask, but do you think I could stay here in your store until nightfall? Arod’s is quite an inconspicuous place to hide in, though I will not blame you if you would prefer me moving on.”

Annie looked in the tool box to see what else she could take with her. She relized she has nothing to carry all this stuff that she wanted to take so, she found a Swiss army knife with other tools in it. It also had a clip on it. She clip it on her. She felt so nervous that she would be recaptured. She looked at the other crates and wanted to go to them but to scared that she would be spotted if she goes to them.

She decided to runs to a vent cover that was behind another crate so she can unbolt one of the vent cover with pliers to unscrew the bolts that was on her Swiss army knife that she stole without being seen. If the tool doesn't work she would try to used her fire to burn an opening for her. Her body was shaking with fear.

It happened so often that X7A did not understand why it still felt so illogical, but she could never understand how people could possibly be so stupid. It wasn’t as though she disliked it, or had an issue with it, or even really cared, but the lack of sense that it made was enough to force her to take note of it. How was it that, in a facility such as this, a man was allowed to have a robot either brought in or made simply for his sexual pleasure? That was incredibly dangerous, and had several ways that it could be taken advantage of to breach security.

And then, to add to that, when there was a security alert a soldier that seemed to be an officer told those on the other end of the call that he was going to ignore it. That, to X7A, was an offense that she would be executing an officer she had jurisdiction over for. Under no circumstances should a soldier desert his post or responsibilities. To do so was to endanger one’s life, one’s mission, and one’s comrades, not to mention the reputation and longevity of those that one worked for.

However, all of this worked in her favor. It was strange that there was a disturbance in the factory, as she had been there just minutes before and it had been completely silent. The fact that nobody was going to move to deal with the problem was unfortunate, as she would have preferred for them to take notice of a problem that was not her in order to remain as inconspicuous as possible, but there was a certain advantage is there being no alert as well.

This continued when she reached the bottom floor. The soldiers were lax and uncaring, and although she did not doubt that they had sufficient training and could stop her from reaching her destination for a short while, they were currently in no state to do so. It was simply illogical; there was no point in using money to train and equip soldiers if they would not perform their duties to the specifications necessary to succeed.

Even so, there were too many for her to simply walk past. She had no vision or visual of her destination, so moving there instantaneously was not an option either. What she did have was their communications, and a way to tap into them, and for the idea that she had, it would be more than enough.

It just relied on one thing; the competency of her Operator.

Michael, I need a feedback pulse to be sent through the communications network of my current floor.
” she told him, her cybernetics making no noise come from her lips, nor any movement to accompany the forming of the words. “
It needs to be at an intensity to kill or disable entirely, for a duration of no less than three minutes. I am isolated from the network, so a disconnect will not be necessary.

She would hold position out of sight until there was either confirmation or denial of success, as everything from this point depended on whether or not this would work.

London

With a shrug of their shoulders, London’s sense of urgency faded as quickly as it had come. Well, whatever – it couldn’t have been that important, right? Right?!

… Deep down, London knew they couldn’t let this go. This problem was bamboozling, frustrating… SILLY! They had to know!

If anything was certain to london, whatever they wanted to find would probably not be found in a restroom. So London made their way back towards towards the door. The door made its way towards London.

KYAA ” London yelped, flattened between the door and the wall as a small group of people entered the room.

Character: Student/Shonen Protagonist.
Type: Organic. (Human)
Story: Path of the Hero!
Name: Noah Hawkins.
Gender: Male.
Age: 17.

Appearance: Noah stands at a considerable 6'2" tall with a pretty average looking physique - slender but well-built. However, when his shirt gets ripped off (as is sure to happen many a time) his abnormally buff physique is revealed, apparently completely hidden beneath such simple clothing. Chiseled muscles, a no-nonsence stance and a look of sheer determination. His skin is lightly tanned, his facial features youthful and handsome with the sliver of facial hair growing in. His hair is short, sticking out a bit here and there, particularly at the front - and is white in colour. His eyes, meanwhile are a particularly dark purple. Mostly seen in his school uniform.

Psychology: Brave, headstrong, justice-driven, kind.

Equipment: Friendship.

Special: Cosmic Manipulation - Harnessing energies of the great cosmos with devastating destructive power. Apparently immune to the dangers of travel through space or other atmospheric dead zones, and can ignore gravity. (I'M GOING FULL DRAGON BALL BOIZ)

Other: Cosmic themed special attacks that he will shout out when using them.

Perks
1: Courageous
2: Hardy
3: Die Hard
4: Jaws of Defeat
5: Chosen of the Cosmos - Great powers will seek you out, yet this adversity only makes you stronger and more determined.

History: Born in the Middle-City, Noah's childhood has been one of hard work and reward. His parents are good people, doctors in fact, but are away from home saving lives so often that Noah sometimes forgets they exist. Naturally he is very independant, living mostly alone in a nice apartment, and doing regular teenage things like going to school and working a part-time job down at the local pharmacy. (Working the register, of course)

He has lain down the law against bullies in and around his school district many a time, picking up decent hand to hand fighting in doing so, and has a reputation

for being a bit of a delinquent among many fellow students. Those he has helped, on the other hand, see him for what he truly is - a heroic protector of the meek.

As a side note, Noah has yet to uncover his powerful abilities - or his true potential.
