Theme song for current scenario: (to give some life to the RPing, if you’d like)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v =O 5lWIZ9sqfc

After the thing broke the window, Annie hopped through and ran for cover. The android-production factory was rather compact, full of machinery, treadmills, cranes sliding along the ceiling, and so on. There was lots of hiding places, such as in-between crates, behind machinery or terminals, ventilation shafts, large tool boxes, and piles of deactivated LOKI Mechs. Annie would notice that the large tool boxes had various industrial tools, which may come in useful. There was also an omnitool.

Inside the facility was also an unmanned Atlas Mech, and a few inactive YMIR Mechs here and there as well. Indeed, these rather large mechs also served as additional hiding spots.

“Did you hear the glass smashing? What was that?” one of the personnel asked.

“Don’t touch anything! Let’s just sit tight, stay quiet, and wait for security.” another advised.

It seemed that X7A’s mission just got a lot more complicated. Her speculations made sense, providing additional clues to what was going on. Nav Point and data updated, she would be able to accurately proceed to the stairs near the second elevator, especially important now that time was running out. Data copied and sent, she turned the computer off and took her leave, the FENRIS Mech waddling about as usual.

X7A left Communications, door sliding closed behind her. Walking down the hallway was a ADVs (advanced soldier), but not wearing a helmet for convenience. He had obviously seen X7A walk out Communications, but did not do anything aggressive. Even X7A’s cybernetics did not bother him.

“Gabe’s girl? He’s always had a thing for robo girls, heh heh.” the soldier remarked as he walked forth. “Gabe’s inside, right?” he asked as he passed X7A. Since Communications was closed, he could not actually notice Gabe missing, and had assumed he was inside. He would probably believe whatever X7A said.

Michael “Mickey” Preston

He had quite the journey, surviving many unfortunate events. Even after nearly being killed by Western and terrorist forces, Mickey remained standing, alive and working, albeit a little traumatized and needing medication once in a while. Indeed, many would be unable to endure what he had to experience.

In the past, after landing in Marseille, he and some refugees were shipped to the Lower City of New Jersey, Morristown, USA. The reason for this was never truly explained much, but sometimes, refugees and migrants were simply rounded up and shipped to various parts of the world, and here he ended up. He may have heard rumours of some people being sent to “the enclave” but whatever enclave that was, was never mentioned. Well, he worked in the Lower City in his own mini-mart, conjoined with his apartment, Milo his only employee. Life was tough at times, but Mickey always managed to make ends meet.

Arod’s began another day as usual. The traffic outside and the technology was not much different from Syria. Indeed, a majority of the Middle East had developed to quasi-first world standards, but, unfortunately, still had problems with the fanatics, some on whom learned to use modern technologies of the current era. Nevertheless, civilization proceeded, but common complaints was that Western Corporates kept taking over natural resources throughout the Middle East.

After serving a few customers, one being a Sudanese woman, the customers left, and a peculiar fellow entered Arod’s . He looked like:

It was rare to find Drell in non-arid regions. This fellow kept an eye out, checking his back after entering the store.

He did not say anything, just keeping things calm and easy. He casually paced around the store, looking at the various foods and drinks. He kept his hands in his pockets, but did not do much. Perhaps Mickey or Milo would do something?

London

Oh no, lack of toilet paper? That sucks. At least she finished and headed for the sinks.

Meanwhile, a Turian janitor entered the washroom, still playing Angry Birds. He did not do much, and without even looking, did janitorial things: added rolls of toilet paper, got a plastic container of soapy water, mop, chemicals, and so on. On his wheeled cart-thing, were also computers and mechanical parts, which he would probably be delivering somewhere. A few things amongst the stacked computers consisted of omnitools and a few handheld tools, and the janitor was still focused on Angry Birds...

“Ugh! Why did the stupid thing backfire again?” the Turian whined.

Suddenly, London overhead thudding from above, coming from the vents. Something was crawling in the vents, and the janitor did not even react. If London listened carefully, she would be able to overhear clicking and whirring noises from the vents.

London

After a few reputations of that upbeat tune, London couldn’t help but hum along as the birds hurtled to their deaths. It was all great fun, and before they knew it, London had already scrub-a-dub-dubed their hands free of all those disgusting germies.

London was about to make for the door, when the Janitor said something about a “backfire”. Following the Turian’s gaze, London realised that the fan was indeed making a great deal of noise in the roof. This was relevant somehow. Or was it? Wasn’t there something else they should be doing?

London shrugged. Thinking made their head hurt.

Annie ran to large tool boxes had various industrial tools that she planned to look inside it to see what she can used to escape from this place. She stayed low so, the security won't see her as she ran towards the large tool boxes that she was planning to look in.

She finally got to the large tool boxes and looked inside the boxes to see what to take. She took an omnitool that she put around her waist and looked for more supplies in the boxes. She relized that she needed to get regular clothes before she gets out of here. She felt very nervous what was going to happen next.

As she had anticipated, the time allotted to her exit had not been enough to avoid a confrontation with the soldier sent looking for the deceased Gabriel. However, it was not a disadvantageous situation, at least not yet. Her cover was still intact, and the soldier seemed to think that she was one of Gabriel’s “girls”. A short analysis of this revealed that it was likely he thought she was here to provide some kind of sexual pleasure to the man, and in that case she still had the upper hand.

There were three ways she could deal with this that held greater chances for success. The first, and least feasible, was to simply kill the soldier while he thought she was not hostile. This had the advantage of removing him from the equation for good as well as making sure nobody else knew she was here for at least long enough that she would be found anyways. However, it also had the possibility that he would manage to call for help or trigger an alarm before the killing blow was struck, as he was more advanced than a common soldier.

The second was to respond in the affirmative, and let him think that Gabriel was still inside while she vanished from his line of sight and continued on. This had the possibility of confusing him momentarily, for long enough that she could continue far enough away that it would be difficult to pinpoint her location from the admission of a single soldier. However, this would also almost guarantee an alarm of some sort being set off, which was what she was trying to avoid in the first place.

The final option, and the one she decided on, was to respond in the negative with an excuse that sounded plausible. Her analysis of the man’s personality was by no means complete, but what she knew was possible to be enough to give the soldier an answer he’d believe. If he did not, then option one would become the only viable one, and that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing either.

No. He went out about a minute ago, complaining that his balls were too useful to have ripped off by some dumbass grunt.
” X7A replied, barely even looking at the man as she passed him. Her pace was slow and methodical; about what one would expect from a “robot girl” that didn’t have anything useful to do besides service a man like Gabriel. The attempt was to continue on her way while not looking like she was trying to put distance in between herself and the soldier.

Mickey could count on one hand the number of Drell he'd seen since leaving Syria, and that was fifteen years ago. One made off with a bottle of gin from Arod's about three years back; Milo startled him and Mickey had thrown a can of beer at him when he'd turned tail. Those good-for-nothing cop junkbots never caught him.

It wasn't true, what they said about all the immigrants being criminals - but Mickey couldn't help but laugh about that one. He looked to Milo, curled up on the counter next to him. As Mickey did, Milo looked at the shifty patron.

He knew Milo remembered, and was probably laughing too, if dogs could. Mickey mumbled, "Fucking cops, yeah?"

Milo did that contented exhaling thing dogs sometimes do. Mickey smiled, reached into the pocket of his jacket, and drew out a prescription bottle with someone else's name on it. He dry swallowed a Demerol.

"Mate, some'n I could grab for ya? Smokes?"

He gestured to the half-wall of cigarette packs behind him - P-Funks, Marb 100s, Camels - and as he did, he felt acutely more aware of the presence of the Ruger in his waistband.
Joe? It's your post on Hard Times.

London

Something was crawling through the vent, and the janitor was so focused on his game, he did not seem to notice. Suddenly, some venting broke from the ceiling, a section breaking off and landing slanted against the floor. Then, whatever was crawling inside appeared, crawling out the vent.

It looked like some sort of cyber-frog: (you only need to watch a few seconds)
https://youtu.be/qki7VXy_M2c?t=2m40s

The cyber-frog looked at London, bright blue eye lighting its face up, the thing making continuous whirring and clicking noises. It then looked to the side.

“Aw, shit! It was so close!” the janitor nearly shouted as he played Angry Birds in one hand and scrubbed the toilet with the other hand, ironically, using a power drill on low hooked up with a wire brush.

The thing then proceeded to crawling forth, paws making squishy noises, and it opened the washroom door and crawled out as if nothing happened. Since there was no opening fire, there did not seem to be anyone outside, for now. Nevertheless, London could either crawl inside the fallen, slanted venting, or proceed to going outside.

West,

If you’d like, you can control this scene, but doing so is optional. You are free to suddenly add soldiers or enemies or personnel or gangsters in the hallway, for example, and see where London ends up. You can also simply continue RPing normally.

She took cover and managed to snatch an omnitool, and looked for supplies in the toolboxes. The supplies would consist of MIG wiring, angle grinder discs, bolts, various sizes of sockets and driver heads, and various mechanical parts for generic repairs. Overall, the toolboxes had every kind of handheld industrial tool that any warehouse would have access too, including associated supplies for said tools.

Annie’s omnitool:
https://youtu.be/3S7DL9E0MC4?t=2s

So far, the personal kept their heads low, but no security came just yet. There were various ventilation caps along the walls in the facility, too. There were also crates stacked onto treadmills by robotic cranes, then being taken further into the facility. The crates were always open and empty, probably to be used for shipping.

X7A

After analyzing the situation and possibilities, X7A decided to follow along with what the soldier expected her to be. She replied to him, and walked on, mechanically. The message slightly surprised the soldier, and as X7A walked passed him, he watched her go. He did nothing, believing that X7A was just a robot. Her plan worked perfectly.

“Yup, sounds like a message Gabe would have for me, he’s got balls only behind a computer. Well, thanks for not telling me where he is, but whatever, fuck-toys don’t know anything.” the soldier remarked, then his omnitool sparked to life. “Yeah, what? Hm? A problem in the robot plant? And they want security? Like I give a shit. I have work to do, go bug someone else. Oh, what? You really want help? Oh, don’t worry, I’ll message my boys to ignore your distress call.” the soldier replied, then walked down the hallway to look for Gabe. “And when I find that fag, there’s sure some balls to be ripped off.” he continued, suggesting he was an officer of some sort.
