Welcome. This is a cyberpunk role-play, somewhat the spiritual successor of Titanomachy, but not as advanced, and inspired by Annie's Gifted Vs. Government role-play. It involves a Main Storyline of your character's life, whatever it may be, and converting that life into a revolutionary movement, but there’s also multiple minor storylines in case someone wishes to go a slightly to significantly different path. There are also several phases that adjust or impact the status of the world over the course of years.

The Story and its World

The role-play is set in a different universe, of which all known habitable planets are spread through several adjacent solar systems. Wormholes with trails of interconnected gravitational currents allow naturalistic space travel betwixt the systems. These wormholes are not dangerous, but simply allow things that move into them to appear at another spot in the galaxy within several hours, effectively making these wormholes cosmic loopholes.

Simply by following the path of loopholing gravitational currents and their affected loopholing ''Black Energy belts'', spacecraft can travel faster and faster, similarly to fish swimming along ocean currents. The safety of wormholes and their according Black Energy belt was discovered first by robotic space shuttles, which entered them and reappeared later.

The trails of dark blobs and masses in the picture are actually a kind of weightless, massless, liquefied energy, known as Black Energy. It is gravitational in nature, and spacecraft can fly or whip out during curves, allowing entering other solar systems.

Space travelling technology is not capable of teleportation or warping, instead relying on the wormholes and the loopholing gravitational currents. Although space travel is limited, it is possible to fly from one planet to the other, and after a few years of tedious travelling, reach another homeworld: a planet of technological and sentient life. Spacecraft often have cryopods, which cause cryosleep, to make space travel easier.

The sentient species first contacted one another with radio and internet about two hundred years ago. Ever since, the sharing of technologies and languages helped scientific advances until the cosmic races could meet in person, and so intergalactic immigration inevitably occurred. Immigrants and tourists to alien planets are often excited and curious about what new worlds they will experience.

There are no energy shields/kinetic barriers/force fields, not even for the alien races, because such technology does not yet exist, at least is assumed.
Scifi armors do exist.
Armor that allows going into space is often called astroarmor.
Probably all ammo consists of bullets.
Particle beam weapons, “laser guns”, are illegal for all citizenry. Military and law enforcement personnel wear visors that automatically darken from extremely bright lights, to minimize chance of blinding.
Medigel exists.
Omnitools exist, but if weaponized or used to form shielding or holographic armor, such abilities should be balanced in power, to reflect the early stages of scifi technology.

Almost all spacecraft is for enterprise or colonization only, so almost completely non-combative in design, due to early stages of long-distance space travel.

The highest altitude for aerial fighting is up to the Kármán line (about 100km/62 miles/330,000 feet above sea level), about the same altitude aurorae appear, but any farther into the thermosphere and things gradually get very problematic for aircraft!

As the role-play progresses, the world will change. But before all of that, the context of the role-play can be expressed through pictures and some description, so let’s see how Earth is doing.



Transportation involves vehicles with wheels but sometimes wings and boosters. However, flying cars are often only available for the wealthy.

The world is set sometime in the mid-23rd century, featuring labyrinthine cities, advanced computers and AIs and robotics, cyborgs, androids, cloning, and supernatural themes. However, it is not a utopia. Large portions of the population are segregated into classes, depending on their social status.

Lower City is where the poor people live, who often reside in cramped apartments. The lower classes tend to work in services or as employees for stores or food chains, customer support, wares, digital work, and menial tasks involving little to no education.

The Lower City is remarkable for rather high crime rates, messy environments, and inefficient welfare and community services. Gang wars occur once in a while.


Since gang violence is not uncommon, enforcers usually do not risk their lives coming down here, instead relying on automated, robotic law enforcement. However, if sentient intelligence is necessary, enforcers will come, fully-equipped.

Middle City is where the middle class and semi-richer folk live. The Middle Class usually consist of educated workers, tradesmen, businessmen, teachers, engineers, builders, scientists, celebrities, successful artists, military personnel, and governmental employees. Cleaner, safer and nicer than the Lower City, the Middle Class enjoy a life where hard work is rewarded. Apartments are larger and nicer, and often have a bath as well.

The Middle City is remarkable for strict law enforcement,









Upper City is where the Upper Class lives, home to the founders and CEOs of the greatest banks, corporations, businesses, and enterprise. The apartments are quite high in the skyscrapers, and often possess multiple floors, rooms, small pools or large baths, and any service one wishes. The wealthy have good lives indeed, enjoying the best education, food, drink, services, and even access to flying cars!

However, there is a dark side, as the Upper City is also home to corrupt corporations, and elite criminal syndicates who can bribe their way out the law, or fool even surveillance AIs with highly advanced hacking devices to avoid detection. At times, it is a wonder who really rules the world: the government, or corporate entities?

Slums refer to areas that have second or even third world conditions, areas that not even the Lower Class would want to live in, often located either outside cities or in undeveloped areas, such as abandoned construction sites or quarantined areas. The inhabitants have virtually no access to technology beyond the 20th century, and are the lowest of the low: outcasts, the homeless, fugitives, and lowlifes in general, often referred to as Slummies. Use of drones and robots to automatically enforce some law and order occur once in a while, but for the most part, no one cares what happens in the Slums.

The Slums are basically quarantined so that Slummies cannot sneak even into the Lower City, the passageways always guarded by Enforcers and robotic support. Sometimes, Enforcers maroon criminals, debtowers, the insane, the mentally infirm, and the unwanted in general down in the Slums, as that’s cheaper than setting up court and welfare. The children down here can only look up, and wonder, about what kind of life they are missing.











Spires are the skyscrapers that pierce the clouds. Generally, Spires are reserved for the elite and the wealthiest, who then drive flying vehicles wherever they want, enjoying virtually zero traffic all the time. Spires obtain their massive energy requirements from nuclear power plants, geothermal energy, solar power, and massive batteries.




Exoconstruction
Since there is only so much space and resources Earth has, it is inevitable that humanity must reach out to other planets for resources and colonization. Some humans immigrate to alien planets.

AREAS are often either sectors of a building or passageways going in and out of a city. If a passageway in and out a city, they are essentially military outposts with some civil and rural services. These areas are constantly guarded, to make sure foreigners, criminals and losers do not illegally enter the city. Nevertheless, Slummy towns develop outside the boundaries of cities anyways. Rarely, the occasional Slummy manages to sneak into the city...

Main Storyline
The Main Storyline is total rebellion against your system. You probably begin as an unremarkable person, such as a student or low class worker, but you can be anything you want, such as a wealthy child, a scion, a popstar, a child of a mafia boss or FBI agent or corporate CEO or what have you, an immigrant alien, a cyborg, a Clone, or whatever you want. Additional information can be found further in the thread, which may help you with unique ideas.

Whatever you are, you will eventually revolt against crime as well as corruption, against both legal and illegal entities, individuals and organizations, the natural and the synthetic, friends and enemies. You must succeed by any means necessary. No matter how grim things will seem, well, let’s just say you’re not the only one who will be forced to revolt.

But, first, what are you up to? Maybe you’re getting up to go to work, or to school. Maybe you just finished immigrating to Earth from whatever alien world or colony you came from. Maybe you’re a hacker, a thief, a beggar, a mugger? Or, maybe, you have awoken to a new life, having been created? Whatever you are, you have a big life up ahead of you. Don’t waste it.

Perks are traits, abilities, powers or features that allow your character to influence or bypass parameters that normally apply to role-playing or role-play etiquette. You can create your own Perks.

Spiritual: Your soul is quite strong.

Courageous: You are capable of resisting fear in intimidating situations.

Hardy: Stress and fatigue just doesn’t bother you too much.

Dodger: You’re good at dodging.

Sniper: You rarely miss with a long-ranged attack.

Pyromaniac: For some reason, you seem better than most at igniting things.

Power Parkour: Enables superhuman parkour.

Shadowmeld: You are so good at hiding in darkness, you literally seem to turn into a shadow!

Ultra-dense muscles: Increased strength.

Hotheaded: Whenever you’re angry, you do things better.

Silent Death: Stealth-kills never make a sound, and are more likely to avoid detection.

Gunslinger: Increased aim with handguns.

Pitcher: You’re perfect when it comes to throwing things.

Jaws of Defeat: Whenever you are on the brink of losing, you always seem to find a way to turn things around.

Black Widow: If a female character, you are more likely to kill an unsuspecting male character.

Die Hard: You are less likely to die from things that would normally kill most people.

Non Gratus Rodentum: You’re good with caves, because you never seem to get lost in them, and always find a way out.

Superstitious: Increases the chance of a random event happening by one.

Eagle Eye: You cannot be the victim of a sneak attack, or will at least always spot a suspicious action against you.

Catlike: When alone, you are sneakier and faster, and precise in all your actions.
