An automated computerized voice repeated the following message every few seconds: “Warning, severe fire alert. Water sprinklers, coolant systems, and ventilation compromised. All conventional exits to surface inaccessible. Please proceed to evacuation train.”
Smoke began flowing into the hallways of the facility, but the Geth continued to fight. The ADVs, having helmets with breathers, were alright.
“Fall back! Go, go, go!” one of the ADVs officers shouted, presumably headed for the evacuation train, wherever that was. “Everyone still alive, rendezvous at evac, double-time!”
The dying and wounded were left behind, some crawling on, but the Geth shot them dead easily. The various workers panicked and scrambled, but some hid. A good number were easily shot dead by the Geth, and the ADVs obviously had forsaken their guard duty!
London remained in the restroom for the time being.
“A fire?” one of the workers in the restroom cried.
“Hmm? Mhm, fire, this way, vents go to the evacuation train.” the Turian janitor mumbled, still not caring about anything, but once he put his IPad away, he crawled up the vent hanging down from the ceiling. “This way! I helped install the venting, I know where to go.” the Turian called from within, noisily crawling through the vents. The workers immediately followed after him, and then...

He wanted to save the captives. Beating a door, it soon opened, and he entered the first cell. He removed the captive’s helmet and started untangling the damn straight-jacket. The captive looked up at him, having eyes that slightly glowed white. He shook his head and stood up.
“Thank you for saving me, whoever you are.” the captive said as he emerged from the straight-jacket. He had a thick accent but a friendly voice.
