Reaching the cell door was easy. Opening it was less so. This one was intact, unlike his own door, and hitting the keypad next to it didn't do anything. He had to input some kind of code or something, but he had no time to figure out what that could be!

With the battle raging on behind him Noah punched the door, then he kicked it. Repeatedly. All he succeeded in doing was making his knuckles bleed more profusely and his foot start to ache, but he wouldn't give up - if he didn't get them out then who knows what might happen to them? Still, as he slammed foot and fist against the door and the keypad, slamming his shoulder against it, trying his damndest to make it budge, nothing seemed to work. The door was solid, unyielding to the strength of a teenage boy with the heart of a hero.

" Open up dammit! I ain't leaving you guys behind! " He exclaimed, releasing a deep yell of passion as he slammed his foot against the keypad one more time. Suddenly, the light flickered green and the door unlocked - much to the confusion of the boy. The keypad sparked at him in futility.

Shaking off the momentary confusion Noah entered the cell, a near replica of the one he'd been kept in, except for the occupant of course, and hurried to crouch by the sitting form of the prisoner. He couldn't really tell a lot about them thanks to the helmet and strait-jacket covering most of their form, but they seemed young. He immediately got to work removing the helmet and getting them untangled from the jacket.

" Hang on, I'll get you outta here! "

London

As the bullets sprayed through the wall, London finally made their move. Rolling to their feet, London felt strange sense of purpose they could not describe. They felt almost drawn to the outside hallway. Giving the door a quick tug, London realised it was locked. Of course it was! London had just seen it get locked!

London shook their head. No, this wasn’t the time to beat themselves up. It was time to give the people who were making a racket a talking to! After all, this was a matter of TOILET ETTIQUITE!

London knocked on the door in frustration. Now, perhaps they knocked a little too hard, or perhaps the gunfire had ruined the structural integrity of the door – but for the second time today, London discovered these doors not only opened sideways, but also long ways.

Arms behind their back, London leaned their head forwards through the doorway. Apparently unfazed by whatever they saw, they would yell to whatever miscreant was causing this ruckus, “ HEY! I’d very much appreciate it if you stopped whatever it is you’re doing! It’s occupied, and like, a man is trying to play with his angry birds in here!

Mainframe - Annie, X7A, Ryder

Annie and Ryder fell to the floor, parts of venting falling around here and there, a few landing on a few LOKIs.
The LOKI Mechs continued firing at the intruders, the Geth Hoppers continued hopping and shooting back at their enemies, and the YMIR Mech stomped its way to the scene.

YMIR Mech: (you don’t really need to watch passed 0:40 if you don’t want to)
https://youtu.be/Dy1hxbLpG20?t=6s

X7A had a softer landing, ending up atop the supercomputers, chunks of venting raining around her. Being quite small and agile, she took full advantage of her abilities and slipped passed the action; the mechs did nothing, probably scanning Gabe’s card on her person and assuming she was him. One of the Geth Hoppers noticed her floating away, and fired a beam at her, but missed. She left Ryder to fight the mechs and Geth, and sought the main terminal that would grant her access to the mainframe...

The hulking mech and LOKIs had already engaged with Ryder . Ryder performed a charge, utilizing his Biotics, sending some LOKIs flying off. He then fought the big metal beast with Biotic attacks as its machine gun ripped, even latching onto it for a moment, but its Shields protected its cortexes and processors thus far.

“REROUTING POWER.” the YMIR bellowed, high-pitched rapid beeping sounding...

A few Geth Hoppers hopped onto various surfaces, and shot beams at the YMIR, taking its shields out. Ryder, having taken a dropped pistol by a LOKI, fired several shots at the Geth. He shot one Geth Hopper dead as it jumped around, it splatting against a supercomputer and going limp. Another Geth Hopper aimed at Ryder, eye glowing brightly...

The LOKIs Ryder knocked down would pick themselves back up pretty soon; it was important for Annie to find some cover soon.
The YMIR then raised its arm, and fired a rocket at Ryder...

X7A floated off and landed in a more open section of the mainframe chamber. The supercomputers were arranged in a circular opening perhaps fifty feet wide, and in the centre was some sort of column-shaped computer that seemed to go through the flooring. Since a series of terminals were integrated with the column, this had to be the main terminal.

X7A would have to manually type in the systems to work with it. She probably approached the column, and her scanners detected that the feedback pulse ended. There was also a severe fire growing in the lower sections of the facility; it was only a matter of time before smoke appeared in the mainframe.

Eagle Eye
X7A noticed someone appear from the supercomputers, a woman wearing a black jumpsuit. She had quite a chiseled face and broad jawline, hair reaching the shoulders, and X7A’s scanners detected that this woman’s Biotics was way off the charts. Facially, this woman looked exactly like the Asari who appeared earlier with the girl. The woman was protected by a Biotic Shield as well as Tech Armour, and was in the instance of performing a Biotic Charge...

Facility - Noah, London

London shouted at the fighters to keep things down. By the looks of it, the ADVs and Geth did not seem to care, how odd.

Meanwhile, Noah had defeated his Geth attacker, then quickly examined the situation: Geth Troopers, ADVs, and an ATLAS Mech. The Geth seemed to be gradually increasing in numbers, but the ATLAS would keep them busy. Also, it seemed that the feedback surge ended, so the ADVs were able to regain themselves and fight better. Keeping to cover, the firefight continued.

Suddenly, the facility’s sirens went off. All lights began flashing red and white rapidly, sparking some confusion for the organics, but the Geth made no reaction. The sirens were quite loud, more than enough to be heard by London and Noah.

An automated computerized voice repeated the following message every few seconds: “Warning, severe fire alert. Water sprinklers, coolant systems, and ventilation compromised. All conventional exits to surface inaccessible. Please proceed to evacuation train.”

Smoke began flowing into the hallways of the facility, but the Geth continued to fight. The ADVs, having helmets with breathers, were alright.

“Fall back! Go, go, go!” one of the ADVs officers shouted, presumably headed for the evacuation train, wherever that was. “Everyone still alive, rendezvous at evac, double-time!”

The dying and wounded were left behind, some crawling on, but the Geth shot them dead easily. The various workers panicked and scrambled, but some hid. A good number were easily shot dead by the Geth, and the ADVs obviously had forsaken their guard duty!

London remained in the restroom for the time being.

“A fire?” one of the workers in the restroom cried.

“Hmm? Mhm, fire, this way, vents go to the evacuation train.” the Turian janitor mumbled, still not caring about anything, but once he put his IPad away, he crawled up the vent hanging down from the ceiling. “This way! I helped install the venting, I know where to go.” the Turian called from within, noisily crawling through the vents. The workers immediately followed after him, and then...

Noah

He wanted to save the captives. Beating a door, it soon opened, and he entered the first cell. He removed the captive’s helmet and started untangling the damn straight-jacket. The captive looked up at him, having eyes that slightly glowed white. He shook his head and stood up.

“Thank you for saving me, whoever you are.” the captive said as he emerged from the straight-jacket. He had a thick accent but a friendly voice.

Noah noticed that the captive’s shins were bowed backwards and each hand had only three fingers, a Quarian without his envirosuit? Then, the sirens went off, and the computerized warning.

“A fire alarm? Oh, this is bad... really, really bad.” the captive said, then his omni-tool appeared, and he raised it to his mouth, recording a voice message. “Tatri? Maal’lok? Goalaz? Anyone there? This is Brazzi, I was just saved.”

He then waited a while, the fireight outside continuing, and his omni-tool beeped.

“Oh, thank you ancestors... Tatri is coming to rescue me.” the Quarian said, then looked at Noah. “Thank you, friend, but it seems you better hurry. The evacuation trains are at the southern side of the facility, there are stairways in all levels going down to there. Looks like that’s where we go, but the Geth...”

Metallic footfall sounded, three Geth Troopers approaching the cell, the first one’s head appearing in the doorway. Brazzi’s omni-tool reappeared, forming into a blade...

Annie laid on the floor in pain after she fell out the vent. She has many injuries from the fall. As she laid on the floor she heard fighting was around her and knew she had to get to cover before she gets killed. So, got the strength to move even though it hurt like hell and started to crawl to get cover. She finally found cover behind a container.

She peaked her head out from behind the container and saw a stranger being attack by strange robots and knew she needed to help. She put her hand out from behind the container trying to aim it at the robots attacking that stanger. Then all of a sudden fire, rocks and vines started come out and hopefully it hit the robots. She hopes she misses the stanger with her fire, rocks and vines. She felt so weak after doing that and might faint any minute.

Ryder

Before the Geth dropped from the wall, Ryder shifted his aim toward the second Geth. His aim would be less precise, his attentions split between the Geth and the still-active mech he stood beside. Emptying the pistol’s heat sync in a full-auto burst, he turned his attentions toward the Mech. Aiming its right turret, it seemed that it was about to fire its missile.

HA, YES, COME AT ME, ROBOT! ” Ryder yelled, casting the spent pistol aside as he gathered biotic energies around him. Both hands outstretched, he would use these energies to cushion against the blast. It might have been enough, had a rock not hit him in the back of the head.

Ryder swore loudly, one hand instinctively reaching for the back of his head as the missile burst from the muzzle. It hit against the half-formed shield, shattering the feeble defence and sending Ryder flying backward.

Landing near the fallen ventilation shaft, he rolled several times before rising to his knees. He ached all over; that HURT, damn it. Examining his hand, he discovered trickles of a crimson liquid. Blood? He, a superior specimen was bleeding? That Mech would pay for this. EVERYONE WOULD PAY.

Who did that. ” Ryder said, reaching back for the ventilation shaft, which scrunched slightly. “ WHO. THE DUCK. DID THAT! ” He yelled between gritted teeth, throwing the shaft at the YMIR mech with all the force he could muster.

Freeing the captive from their restraints revealed to Noah an alien of some kind. A Quarian? Hard to tell without their envirosuit, but he had the right number of fingers. That was usually a giveaway. He grinned at the boy's gratitude, standing up straight again.

" Ain't any problem, just doing what anyone would! " He replied gregariously. The moment of friendliness was destined to not last long however as a computerized voice rang out, informing everyone of an impending fire and that they needed to evacuate. The alien really undersold the problem, a fire wasn't just really bad, it was EXTREMELY bad! On the bright side there was apparently a rescue coming for him and he even knew where the evacuation trains were, but on the other hand...

Noah shook his head even as Geth approached the room, a look of righteous determination in his eyes.

" I ain't leaving yet, not until I get every last one of you prisoners outta here too! " He turned to face the door in time to see the Geth's head pop around the corner, blood trickling down his hand as he curled them into fists. With a shout he charged the doorway, drawing back his arm and leaping as he neared it - bringing his fist down with the added momentum straight into the glowing eye of the Geth who'd poked its head around at them. The eye shattered... And pain flooded Noah's hand as the sharp shards dug into his flesh.

But the lack of vision screwed over the robot, and ignoring his pain the young man brought his foot up and slammed the flat of it against the mid-section of the Geth's body, throwing it entirely off balance and down onto its back in a blind heap. It was functional but severely damaged.

" If we don't get 'em out, ain't anybody going to! " He rounded the corner and raised his stinging fists at the two Geth, ready to beat them down if it meant he could save the trapped prisoners. But even more than that, he was fully prepared to use himself as a human shield to protect them.

All threat levels in the area were currently set to low. Everything was busy combating everything else, leaving her with little more than a single hopper firing in her direction. The gravitational fields warped the attack, sending it flying off and striking a far wall harmlessly, and the machine did not pursue. It seemed that she was a low-priority target as well, at least for those that actually detected her presence.

The other operative had arrived as well, and seemed to be causing quite a scene. This was added to the girl suddenly firing out a myriad of natural projectiles, her actions showing that she was not in full control of her actions. That was dangerous, but not overly so. If Ryder was as well-trained and powerful as his dossier indicated, the distraction would mean little to nothing.

X7A planned to continue ignoring the developing situation. It served her no purpose to get involved, and it in fact made her life easier if it kept going without her involved. The mainframe’s protectors were no longer present, and without them it meant she should have open access. The timeframe was uncertain, although if there were only mechs present she doubted Ryder would have an issue dealing with them.

As she ended her weightlessness and approached the mainframe itself, she became aware that the feedback pulse was no longer active. That was of little concern now; it had provided her with the means to reach her objective, and the attack on the rest of the facility would further impede the defensive forces stationed inside. Even if they made it into here, they would have a further group of hostiles to deal with before even reaching her, by which time she’d probably have done anything she needed to.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
