Certainly if you don't mind being barred from votes that involve skilling - like new skills, quests etc.

I agree with Ibby. I don't want level 3 skillers voting on Corp when they have no idea how it will effect the game, you can say 'Oh I was maxed pre eoc' but right now OSRS is completely different from pre eoc, players are different...
Also, I'm fine with there being a requirement to vote on skilling or PvP updates. I think I would beable to vote on the skilling ones and I could leave the PvP updates to PKers.

Join a clan.
I think that corp should encourage people to join clans, you meet other people, become part of a community and it's really nice.
In my clan we have a lootshare table so if you share alot of loot, it's written down on our off-site and you can tell which players can be trusted.
I know who I'll corp with, I know who I trust 100%. No reason not to find a good clan tbh.

Why on earth would anybody want this? It's just such a game-breaking thing... totally kills the '07 feel. If you release strong defensive stuff like spirit shields, then you have to balance it with strong offensive stuff (D Claws? Chaotics? No thank you) to avoid unbalancing the game.

There's literally nothing good that could come of this. Thank god the new skill didn't pass the poll but if Jagex keeps threatening to release big updates like this I think my days on this game are numbered.

Big updates like this are needed to keep 07 both alive and interesting. Elitist kids like you are what's holding the game back from progressing. Cannot wait to welcome Corp back just as it was

Because damage absorbing shields are incredibly overpowered in PvP. With protect item you can easily tank 25% longer than somebody who wouldn't have a divine shield.

Drop rate needs to be reduced - I'm all for drops/rewards that can make you rich fast (visages, 3a, etc.) but I don't want the shields to go for 1bil (which is around the estimated price).

Unless that is changed I'll be voting no. Nothing should tip the scales THAT severely.

Drop rate for arc/spec is 1/1k (not specific) and ely/div is 1/2k (not specific) iirc. Visages are 1/10k. Why should the drop rate be lowered?

I'm all for corp but against the shields 110%, don't feel they are needed in Osrs. Agree with above about lowering drop rate, feel most who want this only want it for he sole chance of get rich quick. Not to mention the first few shields are going to go for absurd prices. Add in the smaller groups of stakers with 20b+ together will be able to control the market. Even aside from that I see no need for the shields can already last hours in trios at gwd.
