Kudos for Jagex trying to do the impossible in an MMO which is balancing PVP and PVE (pvm). I would just like to quickly get my opinion out that there needs to be some sort of reward to risking more in the wild. At the moment, the wild is filled with too many people risking almost nothing and I think BH is a very good way to change that. Also, I see that the revised version is from a "PVE'er" aspect. If a Runescape player is mainly a pker and does almost nothing else, why shouldn't pking be able to make him money? With the cost of potions, food, and other tangibles it seems that pk'ing tends to break even (my kill/death is around 2-3 and still I break even).
I would also like to add that if we were to receive compensation via sharks, pots, etc. this would encourage people to pk. Now if you're saying that would disregard the time people put into working up those stats I think that statement is over-regarded in the fact that those stats are mainly "afk-able".
What about adding a store like NMZ except the rewards would be "raw" materials used to help train stats (raw sharks, herb boxes, points to imbue different items)? Therefore in theory, the supply and demand ratio will stay somewhat the same except that skillers will prosper from having high cooking/herblore.
