Think it's a bad idea where your target doesn't know you are their target, would be much better if you were both each-others targets.

Why don't you also poll PVP armour/weapons alongside as a separate question? Such as 'If Bounty Hunter Target System passes the poll, would you like the inclusion of PVP armour/weapons?'?

Is a good idea to give people the choice to voice their opinions fully.

PVP armor/weapons don't need to be polled, they need to be added straight into the game without a poll. There are too many people that don't understand what they're doing when they vote no on things like that.

Allowing jagex to add things into game without poll agreement from the players is strictly idiotic. Remember what happened last time we allowed them to do that? They ruined Rs3 with no wilderness or free trade. We are a community and we vote on everything now, that's the only way to move on. If we become our own demise than we have no one to blame but ourselves.

I'm not talking about for everything, and it's strictly idiotic for you to assume that I am. The only way this game can move forward is for Jagex to stop listening to people like you that don't know what they're talking about.

Haha I don't know what I'm talking about now? You think that Jagex should go against their community of players and make updates. Doing exactly what they have done in the past which has led to the destruction of their primary game. The way the y move forward is with support from the community taking it in the direction that they want. It's been proven that Jagex can't be trusted with introducing their own updates without consent.

There have been more than a few good updates lost because of misinformed people like you.

@Tru_Khaos I'm not misinformed in anyway and your arguement is becoming increasingly poor by trying to say I don't know what I'm talking about when i've been around it all.

I don't see how if you've been around it all you could be saying the things you're saying. I understand it's your opinion, but either your opinion is very flawed or you don't understand what I'm saying.

Taking the risk on declining a few good updates is most likely worth the chance 1 awful major update gets added without our approval. 1 update like Wilderness Removal destroyed probably half the runescape player-base in 1 month.

I don't support this being added to all worlds. there are many valuable resources in the wildy, and some excellent training NPC's as well, however, it is already a huge risk of getting pked from world hoppers who camp the areas where skillers and trainers go. If people want to see this update, I think it should only be added to 1 world, if that. the wilderness is risky enough to train in. If this is added, I can imagine overall wildy activity going down because of less people thinking its worth it to train in there if your always going to have someone out there with an arrow pointing right to you. Just a thought.

This idea is good, and could work for sure.

Just add 1 or 2 Bounty Hunter worlds and design some great cosmetic rewards, maybe that change when you get more kills, like in the main game. Only thing I can think of is maybe a opt-out NPC if you don't want the Bounty Hunter sytem at all?

This version is definitely ready for a poll, allthough there is no mention of a hiscore/ranking system this could always be added in the future if it's a success.

With the utmost respect, with every proposed update I read about, it seems more and more to me like you're trying to fix a massive break with a little bit of tape. It might hold briefly, but sooner or later you'll realize you either need more tape, or a complete repair job.

The last thing anybody needs is more content that will simply be dead in a month or two. What happens once everybody who cares has these 'cosmetic rewards', assuming many people care about them at all? The novelty wears of, the initial excitement is down, nobody cares anymore.

You're left with wasted development time, PKers who want something new, other pkers who are annoyed because they didn't want it in the first place, and everyone else fuming because you wasted time developing dead content for the wilderness, and have to then repeat it to keep interest up.

What are you trying to achieve here?

You are wrong about why people like the wilderness. There are still things to do in the wilderness, places to explore, monsters to kill, etc. The thrill is to be able to explore and do activities knowing somebody might appear on screen that you'll have to run from, kill, or be killed by.

All this update would do is remove the people who train agility, kill green dragons, explore, etc., making the wilderness a boring place rid of everybody except pkers.

The wilderness is so much more than what this dev blog suggests. It's a shame.
