Here is where you are both flawed and misinformed.

There are only a few good updates in this game. Losing good updates is a big part of what is killing this game. Declining a few good updates is not a risk that should be taken because of the fear that Jagex is going to spring some ridiculously terrible update on everybody without any notice.

Your example of the wilderness being removed is misinformed because it was necessary to combat the bots at the time, and it was reinstated in better ways later on.

yes!! finally you guys listened those were my exact words lol I said if we condensed the players into a few worlds it would create more activity support. These pvp worlds are awful to be honest nothing but raggers and welfarers.

You cant just re-poll the same exact bounty hunter over and over UNTIL THE VOTE PASSES.....

You say that adding extra incentives like skiller items will crash economy. Well lets say it's true, Why haven't you removed pure essence and vials of waters and red spider eggs from Nightmare Zone yet?


Vials of water used to be 300-400 gp, now they are 5-10 gp. Crashed? YUP.

Snape grass used to be 300-400 gp as well, now they are 100-150 gp at best.

Pure essence peaked at 80-120 gold, now it's barely 40-45 gp.



Well lets not be hypocrites, don't say one thing is bad for economy then allow the same exact thing to exist in different content.


Targets without extra incentives?
So i can basically be assigned a target thats ONE ITEMING and kill him for a dds...? But wait, i can already do that in pvp? Theres enough one itemers there, as well as the wilderness...
SO WHY THE HELL WOULD I PARTICIPATE IN THIS "BOUNTY HUNTER" MECHANISM IF THERE IS NO REAL BOUNTY WORTH CHASING AFTER???

OH AND...... who the hell wants "cosmetic rewards"????? NOBODY.

NO TO BOUNTY HUNTER ONCE AGAIN.

Craters shouldn't even be considered. They are against wilderness revitalization and are just a huge step back for pking.

Your idiocy has led me to make my first forum post in months.

None of the items you list have skill requirements (vials of water can be store bought) the rest are picked up by bots. Nightmare zone devalues botting not skilling.

Hmm not bad, I especially like the idea of the cool armor for certain numbers of bounties collected, but the lack of loot is both disappointing and somewhat reasonable if a good idea on how to go about it hasn't been presented. So, here is what I propose:

What if you turned the bounty hunter way of PKing into somewhat of a skill/guild type of set-up. By that I mean what if we had like a PKing guide/tutor that lived in Edgeville and they were the center of your bounty hunter experience, because with all bounty hunters there must be a bounty to collect. So you enter the wilderness all the same and receive your target and you fight then you kill them, upon their death they will drop a type of bones, different color and name from regular bones. You must pick those up and return them to the PKing guide for a modest amount of gold or save up enough bones to trade for some very useful PKing armor that can only be purchased through the guide (one idea is a back-pack that extends inventory by 4 slots and can be equipped). What this does is put time in-between how soon a PKer can receive a reward for their bounties and reserves those rewards for people who will actually play bounty hunter often, most likely increasing the number of people who will continuously play bounty hunter. Also, seeing as how most people won't want to make a trip to the bank after every kill it puts a higher risk that they can lose those bones upon death. The dropped bones could be picked up and buried for more prayer xp but not banked as ones own bones. Another positive, is the PK guide could serve as another tutor for "noobs" on how to begin PKing, the positives of potions and food, special attacks, types of pures and why they exist, etc.

Also, I think a PKing type of Skill cape would be awesome after a high number of bounties have been reached. I mean skill capes are what show who has mastered certain skills, so only seems fit for a master of PKing.

Then again those are just ideas :)

Make a free target system and an ante target system. If you don't want to pay an ante, then your next target will be as currently suggested. If you pay a small ante, say 10k, then you will get a varying cash drop in addition to the normal loot should you kill your opponent. The cash will come from a pool of money generated from all of the antes players have sacrificed in order to get a target.

This way everyone wins.

People who don't want to pay for targets can still get them but they will only get cosmetic rewards and highscore points, which is fine because they didn't risk anything.

People who risked money will be rewarded in cash.

People who don't care about pking wont be effected because the money is redistributed and not added/removed from the game.

Most of the people who wanted 07 wanted it for PKing and the old combat system. Combat not herblore, or fishing lol. Who cares if this devalues the skills most of the community is PKers and that's what is making this game survive. Anyone who doesn't think so is actually blind. I'm voting no until you guys realize that BH worlds w/ sharks,herbs,bones,vials, random items or even statues or some type of target killing points to increase your exp (EX: 1 target = 1k in slayer, or 2k herblore ect) is the only way it'll work.
