Why not code up a system that gives a value for alot of the main items used. A simple number 1 - 1000 for all items of value. maybe anything over a million? You could kill two birds with one stone and create a Lootshare system with the same code.

I think y'all limit urself when imagining how a lootshare system could work without a GE. Simply just give lootshare points from valuable drops only. (not normal drops)

I believe this is must needed especially if corp is gonna be released. This way seems the most efficient for both solving adding skulls for pking and lootshare for pvmers.

I personally don't see a reason why this would need to be added. I prefer the surprise at the end of the fight when i decimate my opponent. It would also promote 10 people trying to fight one person because it shows he is risking allot. Which isn't necessarily a good thing. I prefer to be sneaky when i pk i don't want my opponent to know what possible items i have with me. what my K0 weapons will/could be.

However, if alot of people want this i would still suport Bh cos its awesome :P

There needs to be more incentive than just some cosmetic items, so here's my suggestion:

Add PvP-only gear like vesta's and statius, but make it untradeable, and make it buyable with "target points"

The amount of target points you get per kill would be based on the alch value of the items that your opponent is risking.

This is absolutely stupid in my opinion....

It failed the poll. Leave it at that. Bounty Hunter is wrong for 07 IMO, and any others as well. Going into the wildy and risking getting pked is bad enough as it is... Now we have to go in, and you slap a big target on my back that says, "THIS IS EXACTLY WHERE I AM!! COME KILL ME AND TAKE MY STUFF." That's not right to me. I understand "no one is safe in the wilderness," and all that junk, but that's irrelevant. People are going to say, "Well it only failed the poll because it was rushed..." and to that I say, too bad. Rushed or not, it failed the poll, and just because YOU Jmods want BH so badly, doesn't mean its fair, or right for that matter to repoll it only a week later.

After all, you said it yourselves. 07 Is OUR game. But it's only our game as much as you let it be. If you persist as much as you are with BH then you're practically shoving it down our throats.

Hey thanks for the update Mod Ronan and Dan good job on your response to the feedback, made me think of what I'd like to see from this & I've had a few ideas.

One of the better things about BH in my opinion was the hiscore system. We had rogue and targets, which were really very competitive. I think we could go a step further than this & offer some rewards.

We should get reward points for killing our target - a number which would need to be balanced by John (1/2/5/100/1000.. etc) - and significantly less for going rogue. I've played a private server previously that had a really balanced way of distributing these numbers if you rekilled the same target etc but I don't know the maths behind it, I'm sure you could work out something. These reward points could be used to buy back untradable items from the dwarves (combos Ronans suggestion of them dropping cash on death and then buying back. Torso, void etc). I'd also suggest reworking their shop and adding other items in there. Moreover, these reward points could be used at the minigame reward shop - effectively turning PVP into a minigame.

To encourage the use of PVP worlds still, I'd say to enable the lootingbag cross-world. This would mean people trying to boss/resource gather/play in a much wider selection of areas. These worlds could have the value of rogue kills in terms of your pvp points (which can also be displayed underneath your KDR).

Items I think could be in the shop;
Firecape Recolours
Ghostly Robe Recolours
Potion Flasks/Resource to make them
Some modification to the trident to enable it
The cosmetic armour mentioned in OP
Pet teamcape seller :3
etc...
(May want to offer a few of those in the minigame shop instead to avoid backlash but IDK).

A few brilliant ideas I thought of :

What about making a few 'versions' of bounty hunter :

1. You can enter this freely and fight whoever you want or the arrow.

2. You can enter this by paying 100k from there on fight anyone you want or the arrow. If you kill someone you get their stuff + the 100k enterance fee.

3. You can enter this by paying 300k from there on fight anyone you want or the arrow. If you kill someone you get their stuff + the 300k enterance fee.

Another idea would be :

How about making something a 'very rare' pvp drop. Like 1/5000 chance for something to drop (my idea was something like kraken tentacle, for another wep). Rules would be that it cannot be dropped by a player that you killed within the last 10 minutes.
