Even if it would be ShardShare (which is better than the old version of LootShare, but it's still bad) this will still ruin the economy to some extent.

IMO LootShare in any form will ruin the game big time, I'll be voting no to any form of lootshare and I believe that there are a lot of people who feel the same way. This is just a piece of content making everything noob-friendly. Just like G.E. was...

If lootshare passes, and I'm afraid it will, then everything will be killed even more because of the return of LootShare-masses. Where it is just a AFK-way to camp a boss without putting in any or too much effort, and where "noobs" will "snipe" drops like sigils, hilts and other juicy loots that other people deserve more because they actually put in the effort.

I'm most in favor of the ShardShare system that we also have in RS3, but it will most likely not pass a poll as we have a substational "omg it's like RS3 gtfo EOC vote NOOOOOOO" group in our community. It splits a drop evenly among its participating members and it doesn't cause inflation, which to me is the best of both worlds.

The second best option for CS would be to sell the item at the highest current buy offer (instead of GE med pride), but there is a theoretical possibility that no buy offer is active at that time, so I'm not sure how the game engine would deal with that.

No opinions to LootShare honestly, as I've never been a fan of the system. 10% decay is a bit too much though, so I'd like to see that scaled down. Visible LSP would be nice, but it would really change the way teams are formed.

I read the first 8 or so pages before considering my own opinion.

Loot share
and the suggestions I read for it, will overcomplicate things and have a high potential for abuse and negative consequences. For this reason I would request a
different solution
.

Coin share
also appears to have some difficult issues to deal with, I will
hold judgement
on it until the future information talked about in the dev blog.

Shard share
is a cool idea I had not heard of before. I think it will be a lot of work to implement for the designers, but it is a way to eliminate the scamming issues that plague PvM right now.
I could see myself supporting a shard share system if done carefully.

A) The entire world does not need LS, keep LS to multicombat areas offering good rewards (boss areas, demi-boss areas, high-level npcs).
B) LS should not accumulate. Accumulating LS would go against the very nature of the update:
Fair Drops
.
C) All LS points should be lost when leaving LS areas; this would result in LS only being gained when fighting the current boss.
D) LS points should be given based on multiple factors: Damage Dealt, Damage Tanked, & Time in Area. Each factor would be capped to a certain percentage. The result would lessen the risk of leechers since their ability to acquire drops with no effort would be much lower than players who actually interacted with the boss/npc.

I prefer the alternative idea;
having more even odds that aren't decided by one's rank sounds much more fair.
LSP decay I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Maybe scrap the idea;
I know I wouldn't go bossing everyday and I wouldn't like to have my potential drop everyday I don't boss, compelling me to continue bossing. I only wonder if this would have negative effects I'm unaware of.
Should LSP be visible... I don't think this is something for me to decide because I'm not much of a bosser atm but I think it'd be ok,
but maybe make other players' LSP invisible
so you don't have to compare with other players and hop ccs until u find players you dwarf in LSP.

I'd like to see what ideas you have for the Coinshare solution, as I would hate to have too many coins coming into the game... even though the alchers are a bit uh, out of control.
I know you guys are obsessed with going a different route and being different and going in a different direction and different this and different that, but the RS3 idea of item shards was a pretty good solution to the Coinshare issue.
Unless that was the idez that requires engine work, I suggest you just do this again.
I'm a huge fan of Construction; love the skill. In particular I'm absolutely fascinated with the
Player-Owned House Dungeon.
My dream is for everyone to be able to build their own personal PvM challenge, one that rivals even current content.

Ok,
A) doesn't really change anything at all.
B/C) I dunno for sure but I THINK, I like your idea.
D) I like your idea; leechers are lazy cowards; those who put in work deserve the drops, but I think that might be too big a job for the dev team. Maybe not; if not, sure I'm all for your idea.
