Can't wait, this is something we have been wanting for a while.

-I think having decay is essential, but I hear where everyone is coming from regarding school/work. My suggestion is to only decay lsp 5% per every day they log in**

*** Worlds are usually hard to find empty, but I don't feel that it's fair to make everyone world LS available as there are a lot of people that prefer to Solo bosses. This would make it very easy for them to be crashed. So perhaps a large majority of LS worlds while still having a decent amount of normal worlds.

-LSP shouldn't be visible for the exact reason you have mentioned. I'd agree with some of the players that suggested to just let you know if its positive or negative, and maybe if it's low-high.

I'll make another example of the logaritmic system I proposed on page 5.
-player A is new to PvM and has 0 LSP.
-player B was lucky in the past and has -750k LSP.
-player C has 10k LSP
-player D has 7m LSP

A 1m drop is dropped. Each player has a certain weight ratio being the logarithm of his LSP.
Player A and B get the minimum weight of 1. Player C gets weight 4, and player D has weight 6.85).
The chances are now 7.8% each for player A and B, 31.1% for player C and 53.3% for player D. Which I consider fair chances.

In the old system this would be around 15% for player A, near 0 for player B, 25% for player C and 60% for player D.

Player C gets the drop, so they new LSP's are:
-player A: 250k
-player B: -500k
-player C: -740k
-player D: 7250k

The next drop would get divided this way:
player A gets weight 5.40, player B and C get weight 1 and player D gets weight 6.86).
In percentages this means: 37.9% chance for player A, 7.0% chance each for player B and C and player D gets 48.1% chance.

In the old system this would be around 25% for player A, near 0 for player B, near 0 for player C and 75% chance for player D.

What happened? D was unlucky last time and his chance decreased this time!
True, but assuming the next drop would also be 1m. If player A would win this one, he would loose almost all has chance for the drop after that (everyone besides player D would be negative, giving player D 70% next time, with 10% for the others). If player D wins this time, he would still keep his LSP at relatively high level. His chances wouldn't drop that much and stay at 47%. That's not bad because he was unlucky in earlier trips.

A couple lootshare words and a couple without lootshare.
50/50 would be to much without lootshare, i would say like 70% lootshare 30% without is good.
Clans or friends can also go to a normal world if they trust each other like most of the players do right now.
I would like to see lootshare with random players who get the drop and no LSP. If LSP will come i would like to see a visible LSP and no decrease with 10% each day. Only when negative it will goes up to 0 again.

I see the merit for this addition to the game, specifically for the purposes of high-value item drops such as the Sigils...

However, I believe this will detract from the spirit of the game that we love so much. I will vote no. Play with people you trust. As scamming can never be truly eliminated from anything or anywhere, it is part of life that we are responsible to defend against as individuals.

I understand the motivation from players to request this. Unfortunately I believe that there is a constant conflict between gamers and developers in this regard. Players will always request methods to improve their gameplay, making themselves as players more powerful in the game thus making the game easier and more convenient for themselves. Developers MUST resist the temptation to bow to players at every whim, in the attempt to keep the game difficult. The slippery slope is alive and well here. Every best-in-slot item WILL be followed by another and another unless we draw a line in the sand and the developers stand firm.

Vote no, preserve the old spirit of this unique MMOR-PG.
Thank you.

-There should definetly be some decay, like 5%/day.

-Lootshare shouldn't be able to be used in every world, for example bandos is often very crowded already. If there were lootshare in every world bandos (and some other bosses) would be just full from mass events, and higher level players who would like to solo/duo/trio would just get crashed by them.

-LSP shouldn't be visible as it would affect too much who are you teaming with.

-Coinshare would be good, but it shouldn't create more GP to the game.
CS could really sell item into the GE .
For example there could be system that tries to sell item for ge med (or any price you set for it) , if it won't be sold after hour, it lowers 5% and after another hour 5% and so on. Lower percents and time between lowerings could be changed from coinshare options. Or percents could be replaced with directly amounts of coins**

*****; So with this method four players go to kill some corporeal beast. Clan chat owner speaks with his team and they decide to set 755m price for ely sigil, 75m for arcane and so on.
They are lucky and get arcane but it won't sell for 75m, so as they have setten coinshare system to drop price 100k every 3 minutes until items sells. When items sells GP would be directly delivered to their banks.

I'm not fussed at all I'd rather lootshare get pushed back to januay and have jad 2 instead, I've never really used it I've always had trustworthy friends. *´¨)¸.*´ Kilot ~ Failed RuneScape player.

Am I the only one who doesn't want this update?? Lol.

How would this effect your ability to obtain a pet? Could someone else get a pet because lootshare gave them the drop even if I did more damage to the boss overall? Cuz if so that's pretty lame. Also doesn't this kind of discourage finding a good trustworthy clan? I've never had problems with someone taking my loot because I went out and found a clan of good people to pvm with that I knew I could trust.

Does this change drop rates? Since say I'm tanking for a lower level at bandos and I'm usually pulling most of the kills. If I got a drop from bandos I usually don't expect another one for quite some time. But if now my lower level friend will get the drop instead of me the chances of getting b2b items increases, doesn't it?

I am a a solo pvmer especially at Bandos.

I would NOT like the idea of a team having total damage vs my damage and then they getting the drop with me getting nothing (if this new lootshare thing does it).

It is okay if the other team had more damage But ONLY INDIVIDUALLY not as a whole team combined damage wise.

for example : Bandos has 255 hitpoints
-I do: 100 damage
-a team of 3 do: 51.6 damage EACH but total to 155 damage

* should get loot but if an individual in that team gets over 100 damage they get the loot with the lootshare thing.

Do not add instances in gwd this ruins the game too.
