The more I play Runescape, the more it becomes a game about economics and ethical problems.

Come on guys, lootshare is a good idea and we can work it out in a way the economy isn't hurt and LS/CS masses aren't a thing. I hate to say this but right now PVMing is dead. There's not even a forum page for PVM. If you want any kind of group for PVM you need a clan. And they're not joking around.

Right now my stats are far from bossing but eventually they will. I have a full time job and I can't just grind out max combat (let alone the GP needed for high tier armor) only to start having FUN .

A completely random system would allow everyone in the bossing team to have an equal chance at receiving the boss pet drop too. Also the system would make the whole team's total damage count together to fight against crashers so anyone coming to challenge a team for drops solo would never have a chance.

Coinshare

The only way this could go is either make the system high alch all items for the team and drop the coins, or put the items in G E for sale at 1gp and drop the coins. So you'd get the same amount of coins as selling the items at G E for their bare minimum value possible. If the item won't sell immediately, then just drop it as an item to the team.

My final thoughts

Just scrap the whole idea of lootshare. If you can't find a trustworthy team for bossing then it's just you who lacks something or you're the untrustworthy one.

And if you want that boss pet without having high stats, how about buying new equipment or leveling up for your next bossing trip? Or just go solo?

lootshare is ffa thing, only good for ffa corp/protecting gwd world, otherwise its useless for some but you gotta understand people will not go unless they have HIGH LSP meaning people will get greedy to want their own rare drop, so its guna cause alot of problem in pvm community...you better think hard for this one. as it might be game changing update

I'm really concerned how this is going to affect us iron men.. If majority of worlds are Lootshare..

We'll struggle to solo bosses? We'll get crashed a lot?

Unless there is more information in regards to iron men, I'll be voting no.

Been waiting for lootshare for some time now.
-Yes to no decay
-Yes to visible LSP, i think for the person only, not other team members.

My biggest concern with lootshare was trying to find worlds where you can solo easily. I think there should be team lootshare worlds where the damage is added up as a whole amongst the team. then there should also be solo lootshare worlds where the only way your team will get the kill is if a single person on that team dealt the most damage.

For example, if I was at bandos on a solo lootshare world and there was a team there. If i did more damage then their highest damage person, then i'd get the loot, even tho they did more damage as a team. As opposed to i could do more damage then their highest person, but they had 4 people and I only had 1, so obviously as a whole they're gonna do more damage.

Just something to think about, i'm sure you guys will do great with it!

What about shard share? like coinshare but everyone gets a part of that item that they can just sell on ge? then you can work along side your team untill everyone gets the right amount to make a full item Back in my day....

Yay to having visible lootshare but only make it visible to yourself and don't give any option to show it. If it's visible to everyone it only makes pvm more of a hassle. Other than that I'm completely fine with whatever you guys come up with in regards to the ratios. Everybody has to go through the same system and thus it's fair.
