i think i understand this, all kinda confusing the point is to have a toggleable system which you can add people to so there is fair chances at recieving high value drops to keep for yourself.

okay well the only way this is fair is if when i recieve a drop the everyoneelses lsp goes up an equal amount and mine drops and same for other people depending on the value of the drop will be how much lsp is raised and lowered this is the only way this system is fair if people want this system to work.

it will then just be a pecentage chance of who gets what.just make it where it goes down the list of highest value item to lowest handing each one out in order so if a bandos chestplate was on drop it would select someone to give it too which would be random but higher in favor of whoever has higher percentage obviously, then lsp would lower for that person then raise for everyoneelse equally then next highest value item gets passed out all the way down the line of items.

of course the higher the value the higher raising and lowering the lsp would be.

i see no point of making it whoever does more damage because if its like that whats the point of lootsharing when you can just go fight normally against other people thats how it is already whoever does most damage wins loot.
maybe add a toggleable option that depending on your damage it increases your lsp that way higher levels want to stay and lower levels still have a chance so they'll stay too.

bring coinshare back just make it where it lists in on the ge at guide price then each day it doesnt sell it drops 10% till it does then after its sold for whatever amount it was it is then equally split to all participants banks.there is the problem with full banks etc but find a solution because this is a good coinshare system without just generating random gold.

i posted this in an earlier comment but this next comment concerns lootshare worlds.

so make 2 different types of lootshare worlds some with the option permanently toggled on so it cant be toggled off and some without and that means this other world it cant be toggled on that way it offers to both groups of people and no quickswitching to scam other players.

from what i listed i think this offers to everyone well i think this is about the best solution to the whole idea of all this.

please let us see how much lsp we have, jagex needs to work away from hidden statistics that affect chances at doing well because its not fair and know way of finding out so its like the whole deal with barrows killcount look how much fuss that caused.leave clues or leave it out because it just causes confusion.

im geussing it all counts separate for people unless in same cc then it works together for them or all in same room i dont know how it will work so i geusse make it where its all separate lsp wise but if in a group it works together, even if there alone in a lootshare world still raises or lowers for them i dont know i didnt understand this part of how it works or should work.

kinda confusing subject im not sure if i answered it correctly but i tried lololololololololol

Agreed. Shardshare would avoid all sorts of complications with excess coins flowing into what we call an economy.

Besides, players can choose to go on bossing trips with friends already, no need to worry about not getting a fair split afterwards that way. I don't see any pressing need for a lootshare system at all.
Plus it's another update aimed at bossing. There's far too much emphasis on that in OSRS already, let's have some updates about silly things like firemaking first please.
Isn't it strange that so many players blindly apply to clans, without ever wondering why there are openings in that clan?

I suggest not doing this, because there are a lot of people (including myself) which aren't doing boss-trips every day. Personally I only can do 1 boss trip a week, which would mean i always lose about half of my LSP... This fact would make it "impossible" for me to use Lootshare.

Same here, if we have to have the stupid LSP let's not have it decay over time. Not when my LSP would be positive, not even when my LSP would be negative. A non-decaying-LSP would equal the loots over time more evenly than a system with decaying LSP.

Another idea that could be brought into the game would be like they have in rs3, shards of the item, which would be distributed the same way as rs3 (for those of you who don't know, if lootshare is on on rs3 and a valueable drop was dropped it would be divided into 120 shards and those 120 shards would be distributed to all of the players evenly or as close to even as possible, (example: if there was 7 players and they got a rare drop 6 players would get 17 shards and one person would get 18 shards) then these shards can be traded and when a player gets 120 shards then they can combine the shards to get the item of which those shards are for.)

This would not effect the games economy at all compared to coinshare where money could possibly just be added into the game... prices of the shards should be reflected exactly as the item (so if there were an item that was 20m, each shard would be 20m divided by 120 which is approx. 166k per shard)


As for boss pets they could just be randomized who gets it, small loot would also be just randomized to deterimine who gets the loot, (I doubt this would be possible) but if there was a way to give all players a boss pet but reduce the drop rate(example if there was a drop rate of 1/5000 but there were 4 people each player would have a 1/20000 chance of getting a boss pet,( each player would have their own chance of getting a pet) with this multiple players would be able to get a boss pet in the same kill.... I don't know if this would be possible to decrese drop rates for amout of players in a group. This was just a thought for how to deal with pets and should only be implemented if there was a way to do this system, and not decrease the chance of anyone soloing or duo etc.

How I would like lootshare

Completely randomized to who gets the drops in the team. This would be the fairest way to go. All that stuff about LSP and all is simply stupid in my eyes.
A completely random system would allow everyone in the bossing team to have an equal chance at receiving the boss pet drop too. Also the system would make the whole team's total damage count together to fight against crashers so anyone coming to challenge a team for drops solo would never have a chance.

Coinshare

The only way this could go is either make the system high alch all items for the team and drop the coins, or put the items in G E for sale at 1gp and drop the coins. So you'd get the same amount of coins as selling the items at G E for their bare minimum value possible. If the item won't sell immediately, then just drop it as an item to the team.

My final thoughts

Just scrap the whole idea of lootshare. If you can't find a trustworthy team for bossing then it's just you who lacks something or you're the untrustworthy one.

And if you want that boss pet without having high stats, how about buying new equipment or leveling up for your next bossing trip? Or just go solo?
