Yay LootShare!

Here are my thoughts:

- I like the idea of ratios of LSP, relative amounts of LSP influencing the percent chance of a drop being allocated to someone.

- I also really like the damage dealt influencing your chances at loot, but not being a guarentee.

Or what if we could have an option so that a member of the team must contribute at least X amount of damage to the kill in order to be eligible. This would combat leechers, but the rest of lootshare rules apply.
For example, you would have to contribute at least 50 damage to General Graardor, or 200+ to Corp. Otherwise you are not eligible to recieve the drop at all. I'm sure that would need testing and balance but its an idea, and might not even be neccesary if the other system is in place.

- Complete randomization might be nice too, but might not be desirable for everyone.

In conclusion on the system implemented, I would like if they were all polled, and that it is polled that we have the option to toggle between any of the systems that pass depending on our group's preference. I understand that having these multiple Lootshare system option all available would take more dev time than just one, but better it take a while to release and be most appealing to the most people, than leave a large demographic unsatisfied.

- Visable LSP, I am in support of being able to see our precise LSP value at all times through some interface. But not our ratio in comparison to other players in our team. Or at all visible to other people. I would elaborate but I'm running out of characters in this post.

- I support not having LSP decay at all. That punishes people for not playing the game and that is silly.

- Lootshare worlds are a finicky subject. We need enough for all the teams that will want to kill bosses, but we need enough worlds for solo players and we also don't want to ruin PvM for all Ironmen. I don't want all worlds valid for lootshare, but you folks decide the ratio.

Edit: Removed my message, as my idea would bring the prices down.

Dont implement coinshare, prices will drop and the system will prob be abused like lets say a itrm that costs 25 mil and the price that the system accepts the least is 22 mil, people would put offer for 22 mil and when the drops happen, they will instasell for 22 mil and the prices will drop, you probably got it.

Going to be voting no to this. I don't like the LSP system and calculations - it over complicates a very simple mechanic of whoever deals the most damage gets the drop.

Only putting this so you have feedback & don't assume everyone loves it.

There will be loot share specific worlds and regular worlds.

Do not use a loot share world if you are doing solo pvm. This will allow you to continue solo pvm without LS teams being able to crash you.

The point of LS is to give everyone on a team a fair shot at the drop. This idea is beneficial for players that play different roles when fighting bosses. The usual setup for OSRS bossing is attacker and tanker. However, one must account for potential future roles such as healer, mage, X specialist, etc.

The concept is simple, but the implementation is difficult. Keep the update to its roots:
Fair Shot at Rewards

A) The entire world does not need LS, keep LS to multicombat areas offering good rewards (boss areas, demi-boss areas, high-level npcs).
B) LS should not accumulate. Accumulating LS would go against the very nature of the update:
Fair Drops
.
C) All LS points should be lost when leaving LS areas; this would result in LS only being gained when fighting the current boss.
D) LS points should be given based on multiple factors: Damage Dealt, Damage Tanked, & Time in Area. Each factor would be capped to a certain percentage. The result would lessen the risk of leechers since their ability to acquire drops with no effort would be much lower than players who actually interacted with the boss/npc.
