one way to do coinshare would be to have the coinshared item be dropped to player like normal but than for player to use or get coins they would have to sell in ge at which point it would be split among players in coinshare. i don't know if this is possible but it would be like it is now where if my friend and i duo bcp at end of trip we sell what we get in ge and can hold out as long as we want but then he gives me split except now the splitting is more automatic. i have been lucky enough to not be burned too badly so i'm not to woried about it either way

I'd like to suggest a revised lootshare release:

First:
-
Lootshare will be available across many worlds, but many worlds will be left non-LS to allow for FFA/solos

-
Lootshare will be toggable on all LS worlds


Main Points:
-
For Primary(split) drops, 2 modes: 1)LSP mode or 2)Coinshare or Shardshare

- > Currently Shardshare seems the favourite instead of CS and better alternative


- For Secondary drops, we will have 4 different modes for selection, all interchangeable in-game:
-
1) LSP Mode
- Similar to historic LSP, but with revisions Jagex mention in DevBlog

-
2) Damage Mode
- Drops are somewhat random, with higher hitters getting a better % roll chance(roll mechanic similar to LSP as described in DevBlog)

-
3) Random Mode
- All secondary drops can be randomly received by equal chance by any team member

4) Free For All Mode (FFA Mode)
- Pretty much like LS being turned 'off'. Max hit takes the drop. The difference with actually turning LS off is that if a team crashes, then first the "group" with max damage gets drop. Then player who hits max damage in this group will get the drop.


Thoughts on this?
If you have disagreements, then kindly state your alternative proposal.


Basically we will have options on primary and secondary drops. I believe this will address everyone's concerns.

Coinshare is nice. But I hope there will come a solution that doesn't mess with the economy.

Maybe the item could end in GE - at medium price.
- If sold, the team could collect the coins in thier bank.
- If not sold within a day, the item would ajust daily to the GE medium price minus 5% each day, untill it gets sold.


Example:
A team gets a Bandos chestplate, worth 13.5m, and the team had coinshare activated.
The chestplate ends in GE to medium price, 13,5m.

If not sold within 24 hours, the chestplate will reduce it's sales price by 5%. And now the price is 12.825.000gp.

After 48 hours, the price is reduced by 5% again, to 12.183.750gp.

Someone now buys the Bandos chestplate, and the team can collect their part of 12.183.750gp at their bank.

This way there is a real player/buyer at the end of the trade. And not some system just paying out gp for an items.

Lootshare : yes

Visible Lootshare : only categorised as "low", "medium", "high", or something similar to those

Coinshare : no

Ratios based on current lootshare levels

Lootshare team vs single player : Each individual of the LS team be treated as a separate player, so if the solo player does the highest % of damage, they still get the drop rather than the team. IE Solo player does 45% of the damage, team does 55% but it's split 20-20-15%, the solo player should get the drop.

Waiting for ls so i can finally do corp without needing to join clan and bump their threads, must crash enemy clan, and do clan works etc etc. And im not interested in cs because i want my own ely drop. Its ok if it will take months. In rs2 most fun thing in pvm was corp and nex ls.

If you put lootshare in i would like to see something to be done about non-tradeable item such as pets or clue scroll drops if they going to be able to drop while in lootshare. I think these types of drops should be based not on LSP but based on who did the most damage to the boss.

Leave some lootshare-free worlds. (3/4 LS, 1/4 LS-free?). Either way, I think a portionable decay must be to prevent people dominating with massive lsp for a long time, for example, someone who missed a couple elysian sigils on a small team and keeps on doing corporeal beast with a massive team will get all the minor drops for a fair amount of time or until he actually gets a sigil for himself, which in my case doesn't seem very fair.

To be honest I liked the old Lootshare system, however if Coinshare is even going to be implemented some changes are necessary to prevent harm of the game economy. If someone were to get a split using Coinshare the system should instantly sell the item to the player who has an offer for the highest price. If there are no offers for the item at all just hand it out to a person with highest lsp? The principle could be worked on but that is just a general thought about a slight change.

Looking forward to Lootshare as of now though. Keep up the good work.
